Am with you on the PPE & also see it's basic & cheap. A lot of it I see on TV that is. Worked the sites all my life so I can see a cheap face mask & know that even an half decent one is shite. They asking a lot of these frontliners in the hospitals & giving them false insurance that the PPE they are wearing is worthy. Without a shadow of a doubt the HSE has a lot to answer for as there should be at least several in each hospital,care home etc to ensure they are wearing what they should be.............but then again I've answered my own question as the HSE cannot tell them to down tools for not having correct PPE as there would be no one left to give care !!
There is a lot to answer for,but those who make the rules rarely are brought to the dock.

rediclus when you consider the health and safty laws docotors and nurser are exposed to now.
a mounth ago you could not stand on a stool because of the dangers.
but now doctors and nurses can stir death in the face each day!.

I think finito is maybe meaning health and safety ? as the HSE are the ones that get involved when someone is off work and its reported as a riddor etc ... i know this because my brother ( who done his full service fighting for this queen and country ) went into h&s when he came out

 

Health and safety are a pain in the arse these days ! i’m a joiner and you can’t do anything !... unless ...you don’t get caught

 

I seen them big safety notices at entrance of every building site these days, forbidden entry to anyone who doesn't wear safety hat, boots and Hi Vis clothing.. Heard loads of guys complain about being pulled by site safety officers for the least thing! Question is.. Why is it not the same for medical staff?
