Hey everyone Ive been looking in old threads and I see alot of newbies getting chewed out because they want to breed dogs that haven't matured yet which screams peddler to me, also we all know that you can't trust anyone these days especially in the dogs.I have learned alot through trial and error but to save some new guys some time I want you guys that have been dealing with dogs a while to list WAYS TO SPOT A PEDDLER...I will start with 1...If a dogman or woman keep saying "we have the best dogs" lol...peddler

Set up at the flea market and selling might be a clue. LOL

 

my favorites are listing pups as stud dogs & working with nigerian scientists.

 

yes they do this alot where im from but they sell mostly yorkies and shitzus

There is a difference when your stock is tested. When your stuff is not is where the distinction lies. IMO.

Not to hurt your feelings but yes so were they, they were famous for reasons many times because of what they sold not for what they showed. I know old men from those days who would mop them up on skills only but when you breed 1000 dogs a year with good dogs you better be able to produce something eventually. Anyone can produce from numbers like that but when you own 4 or 5 dogs breed once every so often and then show your own product or keep the dogs close to your small circle of friends makes you a true dog man. I will be happy to tell any of those you named to their face, doesn't take away from the history they set in stone but they will never be the best in my eyes. Superb quality is molded from hard work and quality breedings on particular dogs that deserve it and not for who's last name is on the dogs pedigree with some registry.

Sorry took it the wrong way. Good to atleast agree with someone sometimes, so many of the people now days in these dogs worship these people who never were the real dog men of the game, no disrespect to those men but they are not the ones who went the extra mile to do the real deal in my eyes.

I was just at a huge flea market and there must have been over 100 people
Selling dogs and over 1000 pups lol . The majority of the people looked
Like older retired people trying to make ends meet with toy breeds. I say breed more and sale them where ever you can and the people that don't like it should just not buy them. Oh that's an original ideal keeping your trap shut about what another man does . Who's standard should we live by your or the ASPCA lmao get real people. Happy 4th let freedom ring and all the puppy peddelers have the same opportunity to make a buck just like anyone else .?
