Amen to that. The idiots even said themselves that instances of "street fighting" are way up since the Vick case got so much publicity. I couldn't care less if they really crack down on that - there is way more cruelty happening there than with the "big time professionals" they feel the need to go after.
Of course, we know the real reason they go after the "big names" is that a) it makes much better publicity for them(nobody would give a damn if they bust some punk on a street corner in Detroit - they can't campaign for million$ based on that) and
b) it furthers their agenda of preventing cruelty by eliminating the breed altogether

 

Anyone who ENCOURAGES or ALLOWS dogs- of any breed - to fight, is a cruel asshole who deserves to die painfully. Period.

It is common sense that letting your pet get chewed up is not in it's best interest. there isn't even a rational argument there but some hillbillies will always try. they may want to fight because they are animals. Being that they're pets it's our job to protect them and teach that behavior out of them the best we can,by socializing and so on. not cage them in a ring where they can be seriously injured or killed. It's funny people even try to argue for it. tell it to someone who cares like ur sister/girlfriend

Have you ever considered some animals had a job to do and had a purpose other than being somebodies fat couch ornament?By the way,back in the day the matches were held in a bit with sides the dog could jump if he wanted to quit,not stuffed in a cage where he had no way out.They were there because they wanted it and liked it.

Great example wardog.Several dogs(and other kinds of animals also) work and some get injured in the process.I used to have coonhounds,sometimes they'd kill a coon and they'd get chewed and scratched in the process.I liked the dogs alot but didn't mean they didn't have a job.I have stock dogs that help me work cattle,I've seen them get kicked right in the face,they have a job.I have horses I use on the farm,I'm sure they really enjoy my butt sitting on them but they also have a job.The typical tree hugging AR person might disagree,but I really like every animal I own,but I do let them work just like the dogmen of the past also let their dogs work.

another rainy day in ga. Chuck Simmons was caught on James Carringer Property yesterday (2/4//10) He was caught videoing and takeing pitchures of james dogs,James explaine to him what he does that is is the preisdent of the ga,apbt assc. but chuck wont listen he will be back to take and try to kill his dogs. chuck is a dog murderer is purpose is to extict the apbt.

 

james should move his dogs somewhere safe for a bit,if i ever caught chuck simmons on my property he'd be fucked

open your eyes, a TON of people own working dogs that they consider like "working tools" if I may say so.
and dogs are injured EVERY day preforming their jobs, wether it's dogmatching, hunting, k-9 officers, herding dogs, ...

 

In case some people didn't realize it. Dogs die. They are not immortal. They are not gods on this earth to be worshiped or made sacred. They are the property of their owners. I see nothing wrong with matching of game dogs at equal weights Cajun Rules. The true matches would bore the average person so the media has historically cooked up hogwash and fed it to the ignorant who in turn propagate more ignorance. If someone would show the true life of a game dog from pup to his first match , every viewer would be either hoping pup wins or at least show good. Or they would be bored to death. No one would be horrified I'm sure. I see dogs waddle into the veterinarians office who won't live to be even 6 years old before succumbing to heart disease because they are overfed and lazy. I've seen apbt off game stock and veterans of many rolls still run the chain at 14 years old. The AR groups want ignorance to spread faster than truth and knowledge because the actions of the ignorant justify their existence and help line their pockets with donations. I feel that matching dogs should have been decriminalized a long time ago. It would have been better for the animals involved and more importantly the people who have suffered from being wrongfully accused and their property taken and destroyed without due process of law. They kidnap your dogs, arrest you, kill your dogs, then when it is shown you have done no wrong they acquit you and expect you to go on your merry way. This happens in the "Land of the Free". It is just an effect of all the power, money, and influence in the hands of the AR organizations.
