    She's got some tissue buildup in the tubes & some extra lining the uterus. We're hoping she'll take or else we might have to go back in & surgically scrape it away if we really want to get pups from this gal.

    215pitts: The secret is that Smoke will only have a 3 pup litter, if that. She has been regular like this all her life. One litter will be around 10 & her next litter will be no more than 3. Then her next litter will be around 10. Then the litter after that, 3. And so forth. The litter she had last year by Tiger was around 10, so I know this litter she will have 2 to 3 pups.

    Easy to keep them all then, no? ;)

    Attila: I do not know what day we caught her in. With her silent heats I only know she is in when my male starts chasing her around & she starts standing for him. She stood yesterday for the male, but when we put her on a breeding stand to help him, she started to growl, so I figure she might be going out, as my male had been chasing her around the house for awhile.

    That is the bad thing about using an outside stud. The stud owner contacts you about wanting to do the breeding & when the time is right, you can never get a hold of them!

    But o' well. If it doesn't take this time, we will just have to try again next cycle.
