    the top one is one of joe mallens later dogs , the pied is lady o"lin 1948 and the other is gentleman jim as a pup with game bill ..

    all great pics, ch gentleman jim looked great...

    original breed standard 1935 required a dog/bitch to be between 15 and 18 inches to the shoulder weighing between 28 and 30 lbs bitches 4lbs less, todays breed standard asks for dogs/bitches to be between 14 and 16 inches weighing between 28 and 38lbs bitches 4 lbs less.
    its not the breed standard that has fucked the breed up but the breeders trying to breed out the staffords true temprament, it doesn't matter how big a dog is as long as the dog has the right temprament. IMO
