I drive a 02 Silverado 2500 HD 4x4, it gets TERRIBLE mileage, but I can tow anything, and it's a long box crew cab, so it has room for anything. But god damn, even with the lower gas prices it's still bad, lol

What about the other costs of living, blue? Gallon of milk is about $2.93 here where I live. How much would a gallon of milk cost over there right now?

I'm pretty sure the cost of living is higher in about every avenue over there. They also have higher minimum wages to combat that though.

Naw, blue, that's not as bad as I was thinking it would be. Here in TX the minimum wage for work is $7.15/hr. Do you know what the minimum wage is there?

    ...sure it's b-tween ..$9+$11..give or take...

Wonder why your guy's gas is so much higher than ours? Minimum wage and food isn't that big of a difference. Maybe you have to get gas hauled in from a long distance. That would be my only guess.

    Gas is $1.62 here.

thats part off it...also not all countrys are oil producers like the US/Saudi/etc..and as ya know the markets are controlled..by opec for one..also the euro-union./govt's...they set the prices...£$£$£$£/greed..makes the world..????.lol.........

I think it may be pollution related possibly, seems to me most euro cars are smaller and get better mpg or kpl . Of course the exception is the expensive cars. Also most places don't rely on automobile as much as us

......could be right there also cb,,,we have very low air pollution, compared to 30 year ago.and..the average car would be smaller...most young people go for a smaller engine(1.3/4) esp;..girls..as road tax+insurance,,can cost a fortune..
