Alabama Bulldogger Association Show April 22nd

The Alabama Bulldoggers Association's next show will be, April 22nd 2006, at Sharon Johnson park in New Market, Alabama.
Rudy Cantrell, from Scratch Back Magizine, will be our judge for the comformantion show.
Scratch Back Magizine will be cover the show, for an upcoming issue.

In addition to regular conformation classes, we will have the following classes; "Judges Choice", "Junior Handler", "Best Red-Nose Dog", "Best Blue Dog".

The day will get started with a "Treadmill Race" and we will end the day, with the always exciting "Hang-Time Event",


We will also start the Wt Pull and Tug-o-War events at this show.

Registration will be from 9-11 am, and show will start at noon.

Fun classes and working event entry fees are $5.00

Regular conformation class entry fees are $8.00

A full concession stand will be available and we ask that everyone bring a Raffle/Auction item to be raffled/auctioned off to help support the club.All monies will go to pay for facility,Trophies/ribbons and future shows.

 

What registry is the with? Is it a point or fun show? Thanks.

 

The working events are pointed by ABA and comformation winners are pointed by TBA.
TN APBT Club will award working Dog of the Year, based on points won in working events.

 

Can ADBA registered dogs show, or do we have to be registered with these registries?

 

We allo all dogs to be shown.Reg or unreg. No difference. There are some very nice bulldogs at these shows and a very competitive field of working dogs.

 

how does the tug-o-war event work??

 

Pitangel- I believe that is where they have two dogs pull on a rope until one "wins". By all means, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I've always seen it done with the dogs secured from getting too eachother...and also there is usually some sort of divider.

 

so who all is gonna show up there?? i'll be there. with or without the dog.

 

How long of a drive from NC is it?

 

Tog-O-War Event, Will probly be trial and error for our fist show.

We allow registered and unregistered dogs to compete as long as they are PURE BRED APBT's.

Absolutly no bitches in heat and ALL dogs must have a crate and BUCKLE collars.

what's a grate?

 

I am makeing all efforts to be there. I told Stillwater that i would be there if the Lords willing and the creek don't rise. This will be my first dog show. I am kind of excited to see hopefuly some people that i talk to on here and see the dogs.

Crate. All dogs must be in a crate when not involved in an event.

 

I'll be there
