He came up here this one time like maybe 3 or 4 years ago and brought up a dog with him. A red nosed / red dog named RJ I think. We were going to go grab some dinner and he figured he could just throw rj in one of my kennels. He did and as soon as he turned his back and started walking away, that damn dog let out a war cry that had to be heard in a 3 block diameter. Dog was screaming his face off. I looked at Moe and was like yea we can't do that. Lol I live in the heart of a city so I can literally spit on one of my neighbors houses from inside my house. Ended up taking the dog with us and got it to go. I'll never forget the way that damn dog screamed. Ear piercing pitch. Some time later, if I remember right, he ended up biting Moe so he put him down. He did really like that dog though up until then.

 

Nobody really dies till the last person forget about them. They just move on to the next journey.

He had a great sense of humor. Could dish it, could take it and would involve other people to keep it going..

It's crazy how we take time for granted.
His long time GF wrote a real nice tribute him on FB and I wanted to share it with those who knew him....

Our road was full of hairpin curves (even more then our Tail of The Dragon ride), speed bumps, gravel and steep hills, but thru it all we always say I love you! We loved each other in ways others will never understand. You told me always and at times daily "You're my world, my best friend, the love of my life." My world has yet again changed, the person that I leaned on most for day to day struggles, is now my biggest struggle to move on from. You fought hard, I was there cheering you on. You are pain free, strong and full of life again. You asked me to help you, but I wanted to be selfish and not let you go. The hardest thing I have ever done was tell you goodbye for the last time, but it's not goodbye it's see you later, I know this in my head, but my heart doesn't want to listen to that. My heart is broken that you are gone so soon. My head knows it was time to let you be pain free. That didn't make it easier walking away from you for the last time. Ride high till the wheels fall off and rest peacefully. "Here, There, Now, Then" I'll forever love you and miss you.

Sorry to hear we always lose the good ones too soon. Prayers for the family and friends somehow it showed So on one my replies. Sorry for your loss bro.

 

His sister told me he had been fighting a couple illnesses. The cancer though wasn't the culprit she said. I didn't want to upset her by interrogating her about it so I didn't ask her to go into any more detail. Felt it was kind of irrelevant at this point.

All that really matters now is that he isn't forgotten. He certainty lived his life to the fullest!
