At this point, just let them mature and see what happens.Wait it out and see , that's all you can do.

I agree with Bama. No way to know what to expect. To add to that I would invest in better chain setups. Not sure how he got off but if tethered properly and check routinely then you shouldn't have any problems.

Plenty of people make brother/sister breedings if that's what you're asking. Some work out, some don't. That's the way it goes with any breeding. Only one way to find out and you are already in that situation. Let us know how it pans out for you.

  9. Another question I had a litter of pups the runt male was very fiesty (hot) always fighting the litter mates but he always wants to be around the mama the only one he stays under her he's 4 months now all of the litter mates are gone he's kinda laid back now do you think I let more gamer one get away picking the runt an culling the rest or he just hasn't turned up yet because he don't see any other dogs...

Lol your pup is just that ! a PUP! Let him grow at this point I say feed him the best that you can . Now is the time to worry more about the bond you and this pup has . Good luck

I'd say the million dollar question is why are we culling pups before they reach an age appropriate to determine if they need culling.

  13. Thanks for the info yes I spend alot of time with him we were at the park by the water yesterday I really appreciate the feedback from other dog men...throughout the years I've had a couple of pitbulls throughout the years always had boys though one was before my time he was a real badass he died because one day the people next door rottweiler broke off the chain an was climbing on my gate my dog grabbed him while an was trying to bring him over the gate my cousin was there who didnt know the proper way to break a dog bite so he hit my dog in the head with a bike rim without the innertube an rubber part an he died from that head injury I was only 15 at the time got him from my uncle who's a real dog man said he was some mason hog blood I hate I couldn't start my foundation with him lol the female I have now is my first bitch I ever had she's a bad ass too an I only produced one litter off her an kept the boy runt that I have now about to be 4 months old..When she comes back in heat Im thinking about breading her to the father of the recent male I berd her with take a girl off that litter an bred her to the male puppy I have now which would make that a half brother an half sister breeding.let me know what you all think I like the feed back from real dog men out there I'm not afraid to say I'm still learning...

Plug em all... lol JK. Man my head was hurting reading through this thread. Another Skyline story in the making. ASK your uncle the "real dog man" instead posting on a message board. Problem solved. Sorry OP i am not trying to be rude but, i just feel that you should of used the search button before posting. Hopefully EP will post some informative threads for you.

  15. My uncle not here anymore lol this post wasn't for people like you only good feedback please I preciate it tho but this wasn't for you..

Your post was "any feedback plsease"....seems like you just want to keep asking ppl the same question until you get the answer you want to hear. So here is some positive feedback...maybe. Bro/Sis breedings have been done for decades upon decades with some more successful than others. Just because they are "pure ELI bred" littermates doesnt mean they are going to be "too tight". There are many different strains of "eli" . Here a bro/sis "eli" breeding http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=114726

Donta my suggestion is get a couple books .Strattons book and the Pit Bull Bible by Cali Jack and just read .Read and study as much as you can.

So you didn't cull the pups you sold them all basically and kept one. Now your wondering if you sold one that was better than you kept. Well the only remedy is not to sell pups. I've had litters I kept all but one and I still wonder of that one may have been my once in a lifetime dog. One thing I'm pretty sure we will all more than likely agree on is that the last thing you should be planning is breeding more dogs at this point

  19. Preciate that cajunboulette an I need to stop saying culled I sold them that's what happened didn't have space to keep them I do now moved to a much bigger spot but thanks for the info......
