Official Ch???

So to become an official Ch you have to win 3 contracted races. These have to be reported. But reported to who? Is it only the SDJ? Or can you report to other groups as well? can someone PM me of they know of an alternative? Not that I had a problem with the SDJ.

 

Guess it depends on the country. Seen plenty of Russian Magazines that have their own Champions registry as well. I guess if the person is wanting SDJ approval and wanting to advertise there they may have to provide proof to legitimise the dog.

Outside of America it is probably hear say and dogmen trying to build a reputation for their kennels.

 

People get tired of hearing it but its true. Those who need to know will know.You dont have to send reports anywhere. If you get 3 under your belt people will seek you out to give you a L.

back in the day before the digital age,,, it wasnt as bad to send reports to magazines and have a certifcate
to look back on or prove to someone that dont trust you word...

its dumb to fight your dogs in this day and age and even dumber to send reports and digital paper trails,,,
unless you are some where its has more relaxed laws in which those areas or neighbors have registries...

you would have to translate them to a language thats laws dont allow dogfighting,,,
in which tells me you shouldnt be doing it anyhow...

when mrhhargroves trial started,,, ch showdown was one of the dogs they brought up as evidence...

when mr boudreaux was raided with some evidence being the digital trails and they were looking for a specific dog...

this enough tells me that you are either stupid for fighting your dogs for examples I give to you,,,and if you chose to break the law,,, you are even dumber for reporting matches to anyone or posting winners on the internet...

Also look at where it landed David Tant. In prison talking about the dogs he used to have. Times have changed to such an extent that a man living here in the USA, giving match reports to magazine's, online peds 6xws, ect is asking to be locked up. I think it's ridiculous in so many so called fighting rings the powers that be are breaking up. Looking at pictures of healthy hounds that aren't even scared up ect.

 

BDL isn't asking for theirselves just enquiring on behalf on people who would like to know in far flung areas.

Never understood the magazines from after the 1970's. HSUS or whoever could get on the mailing lists and put a name to a face.

BDL is a friend of mine on the internet. A knowledgable fella and has a lot of good links to the Indian kennels. He is a supporter of the game dogs much more so than I am.

He knows his stuff and regularly corrects me if I am wrong about things. He is a student of all things game dogs and particularly Bull Terrier types.

He has no motive other than to find out about dogs abroad from that are not from U.S. And European shores.

Plenty of the Dogmen are on good terms with him and he has had articles published in the SDJ.

A historian like yourself but an admirer of the Bull and Terrier types that made it over to India and other provinces.

Honestly haven't a bad word to say about the man.

True for me as well bdl has always been happy to help my studying by providing old photos of bull terrier types and has a boat load of wisdom with it.no matter how much I pester him with questions.
