that blood is still around I had a daughter off CHERRY BOMB X CH SMOKER that I based my whole yard on. My bulldogs were bred on both sides of her pedigrees. I finally had to bring in some new blood had a male and female from Steve H. both dogs were bred from his best stock both quit. I conditioned South of the Border Knl's Zeke for his second win and thought he was one of the best dogs I personally seen at that time. So I bred to Stumpy and it did not take, but later on I bought a daughter of Zeke her name was Miller's Bonnie what made her so valuable to me was her bottom side she had all of my friends best male dogs Melvin's Deacon, Melvin's JR ,Melvin's Rattler, Melvin's or Williams' CH Paladin over Cotton's Bullet bitches. So now my dogs are 3/4 Tater x Faith x Hetrick x Bullet with 1/4 Redboy x Jocko x Bullet, this is some old working blood, Yours in the Game

roccas my fav pit dog writer,and i love to read about rarer old school bloodlines not just the usual.

 

Do you have any of his books? If so, are they a good read. Know anywhere where I can read more articles by him.

 

yeah got his last two, I paid a fortune for them as I'm in the UK. I love the way he goes on and on about bloodlines.The dogs been banned a while now over here, so I get my bulldog fix via books, mags and this site. Try Terry at APBT books but be prepared to pay. Good luck!

 

In my opinion his books are some good reading. FR has a good perspective on some of the goings on in the dogs from his area and era, and has his own distinct way of telling it as he sees/saw it. He also produced some good/great dogs which produced some good ones as well.
