Well, I had to shovel a shit load of snow this morning and while I was out doing that, feeding, watering and refilling straw in the boxes for the dogs I figured I'd snap a few photos of the Winter cheese hounds in action. Kinda lol, they don't do a whole lot in this shitty weather....
    Thanks for viewing!

Lil Miss Geach and Chino had me cracking up while I was trying to shovel, had to stop and take a few pics. Geach pushed Chino face right in the snow. Lol he got all pissy about it.

Pumpkin refusing to go back out on her Chain, she really dislikes this shitty environment just as much as the rest of us do.

Im glad my dogs cant log on as they would be jealous...

I always thought the snow has always been the a great background for dog pictures as it contrast great,,,
unless of coarse theyre white than it would look like the late painting I turned into art class as a youth,,,
the teacher asked whats all this white paint as I titled the piece a polar bear in a snow storm,,, good times...

    Lol thanks.

I don't ask my neighbors lol. Fuck them and their opinions lmao. I'm not very neighborly. I keep to myself and I expect my neighbors to do the same. The only time of the year any of them can even see that I have dogs is this time of the year. I have privacy mesh up on my divider fence that seperates my yard and a full canopy of trees over the dogs area. My dogs are the quietest on the block and I keep my yard very clean. I don't tolerate barking, not so much because I have neighbors since their mutts keep me awake often but because I do not like barking ass dogs. Drives me crazy. Barkers learn young to be quite through the use of bark collars. My neighbors to the west of me are pretty cool, we talk but my ones on the east of me are assholes. I know the laws pertaining to the dogs here pretty well so AC don't really bother me much, they don't like dealing with me either

I'm the only one who owns their house outright here so if they have a problem they can move for all I care lol.

Here's a better look at what I'm talking about. The way I set my yard up in the beginning had purpose. I knew I didn't want my neighbors having to look at my dogs everyday so I built everything in the back part of my yard where there is plenty of trees for shade and privacy from my neighbors second floors. I put the shed up to block my neighbors view of them to the east of me. To the west of me, that neighbor has his shed up in a place that does the same thing, blocks his view. The trees fully surround the dog area and when there are leaves on them, they drape and cover the entire area. I have to cut branches most years so they don't block my own view from my second floor.

There are 4 spots back there. As you can see, the mesh on the chain link blocks the view from my neighbors to the east of me. The shed blocks their view from their second floor as well as the neighbor east of them.

Some pictures showing what I mean.

This one shows the canopy over the dogs area. When the trees are in bloom, none of my neighbors can see into my yard.

This picture shows how the trees block all of my neighbors behind my property. All they see is trees.

Next to her spot (opposite corner of the yard, more canopy)

This last pic just shows how the branch that I have hanging low blocks my neighbors to the west of me from viewing my dogs from their house.

The only people who can see the dogs are those standing in my Kitchen looking out the window or on my second floor looking down on to them. I put a lot of thought into building the dogs area to avoid creating an eyesore for my neighbors. I also have 2 overhead set ups in my basement and 2 welping areas down there too. My basement is fully tiled and we had the regular windows removed and glass block windows put in with vents to allow both plenty of sunlight and also be able to allow ventilation of the area. I can accommodate 8 adults and 2 litters at any given time of the year.

Thats a little private retreat you got there. Damn nice kennels. They got their space you got yours and it looks like a fair amount for each dog plus you let said you rotate them those guys got the best of both worlds. I have same amount of space in backyard but its costly to make those chain link kennels you got there how much for one

The chain link is a 10x10 kennels opened up + 2 extra panels. 10x10 panels are like 60-70 bucks apiece at TSS

Thanks! Each dog is on a 10' chain. They get rotated through the house too, for days at a time usually. Up until they become more work than I want to do, once that happens back out they go. I have 2 adult females and a pup inside 24/7 so it gets challenging to do at times.

Nice photos and very well designed set up! Lucky dogs, they have a good life. That Chino pup is growing fast. And Pumpkin is all grown up now.

Thanks, she sure has grown up fast. She's a tiny little thing, only maybe 32-34 pounds soaking wet. Chino on the other hand already almost weights that and he's only like 5 months old. Lol. They sure do grow fast. Seems like yesterday Pumpkin was still on her mother tit.
