good looking bull and terrier circa 1863.

    This bitch appears to be a half bred dog of bull x terrier. Imo she looks like she could get the job done.

    Nice share, a scruffy dog that looked like some of the old timer Mr.Lightners later bulldogs that grew accustom to the mountians with the thick coats...

    yeah. she was bred from a show terrier and a rosa style bulldog from my knowledge. dogs like her and jock make me wonder why people deny terrier heritage in these dogs. plus can't go wrong on hybrid vigor back then.

    I agree, theres a battle between the bulldog and terriermen of whats what and our modern bulldog has to be from mollaser and terrier origins, as alot of the first imports seemed to lean towards one or the other and the perfect balance seemed to prepel these dogs abillities beyond anyother...
