Richard "schoolboy" Garcia

We're attending a show in 2 weeks held at the training grounds we will be taking billy to. Richard will be giving doing a talk about his experience with the breed. Just curious about the guy. From what I gleaned while googling, he seems to be the real deal. Anyone have any info on him? Maybe someone here has chatted to him in the past?

By the way, it's just a fun day out. Some training demonstrations, and conformation. There will be plenty of craft beer, so I'm all in. LOL

That's a good guy to talk to and maybe learn a thing or two in my opinion. As with anyone in dogs in sure some here will prob tell you different.

i'm considering that day. I'm chasing a title with a dog of mine. but it depends if a buddy comes from out of town for the fun day and seminar or for the seminar only

He is full of shit and don't know what end to clip a lead on. I guess you all haven't watch what being said on FB. You saw on this forum the R.O.M. dogs and Red was not one of them. He never produced those champions. The dog won one and was counted out on his second time out. Look what Ed Faron thinks of him. I personally called him out in front of God and everyone for shit talking. The man isn't even 55 years old. He talks about shit he knows nothing about. He claims he doesn't own a dog and hasn't in years! Get real. Another one trying to be remembered with BS types and books.

 

So Big Red never produce what they claim? Being across the waters its difficult to make out whats real and whats not Stateside.

instead of dealing with 2nd hand feedback from a bunch of people online that you dont know (or dont know him)........why not just contact the man? he aint hard to find.....hell, infact, he's one of the easiest to get ahold of....lol

Big Red was a great dog that was held on a high standard of value to those that utilized that blood, from california to ny and puerto rico in which she was bred to a great champion game jane by Dr.Tristani and friends with great results...

I am sure he helped aid big red in many ways and big red shouldnt get all the credit,lollll.....
If I were picking up Big Reds shit and getting to either breed to him or a pup off him, than I might be able to listen him practicing for those videos...
I dont know much about the schoolboy or schoolteacher, but do know that anyone knocking BIG REDs valor must be judging on the man and not the dog, or thier ignorant and just dont know...
I wasnt a fan of him and passed a pup off him to game jane for seven hundred and fifty dollars which seemed like too much then but really more an expensive choice as that ltter was like the rest off Jane, very good...
I have not met one person that has seen BigRed and can knock him or his production, and thats on either side of the line...
Too bad BigReds not alive and he could speak as he would have to have something better than the schoolboy...

The man bred raised and campaigned a sdj ch. He produced great animals and his blood is still around this day doing well in different parts of the world. For that he has my respect.

 

So you're suggesting I contact him and say: "Hey, Richard... do you really know what you're talking about? What kind of guy are you?" To which he is expected to give an unbiased answer?? I see...

 

Yeah pretty much.... better than asking a bunch of people online that have never met the guy. Besides, what does it even matter.....its not like your getting a dog from him.
