I was sitting back thing, how smart Vic and TG. are.You could write a book on thesegreart men, they both had visions and didnt let distractions get in there way.I know there sittin back laughin how they took the game over.1200Hun fora pup 1000 a stud. Dont hate the player, hate the game

I was long outta dogs and far away from Fl in the early 2000's and my niece was out on her own and in college down there. She called wanting a red nose pup. I gave her some #'s of some staff breeders I new from way back but none where available. Well like any strong minded college kid she took it upon herself and searched it online. Found Vics site pretty quick and fell in love with a pic of a red nose pup outta MD. Long story short she took her ass down to Miami and he or someone from that camp sold her a $1000 pup to help watch her apartment. All of this unknown to me untill about 3 yrs later she called needing help cause the dog ate something that messed him up. She had all the paperwork and brochure crap, fliers or whatever. She got him fixed as a pup so I never told her anything other than "glad he is a good dog, hope he stays that way".

Yeah about the 2000,I donated 1300 to the MD.college fund.things didnt workout but I took it in stride no ill will towards vic part of the game

 

I'm not really familiar with TG personally, just that he sells to the public, and that he has produced some good ones. I'm curious as to know why most people on here seem to speak dispargingly of him. Not really of his dogs, just him. Is this just because he sells to the public, or is there a clash of characters that turns people off? I'm not asking for specifics, but if somebody could lay it out in a general way, I'd be grateful, as I've thought about getting one off him from time to time.

 

....he has sold a few good dogs...but if ya did'nt get some good dogs with the amount he has bred then theres something wrong...some call this peddling/peddler..but he just doing supply+demand...a-lot belive his dogs are sold on the strenth off his peds....but it's up to each to make their own mind....

...don't take it wrong he has had some very good/great dogs and knows what he is doing with most off his breeding's...but as said when $upply +demand..$$$.there not to everybodys likeing,,but would'nt say don't buy one cause there a fair bulldog and sure he would put ya right...

hey, if you want to spend 1k for a stud and/or $1200 for a pup, just because a 'name' is involved, that's your prerogative. (as well as your stupidity, sometimes). a dog is only worth what someone is willing to pay. apparently *many will buy dogs due to a name attached to it. hell, with 13 litters on the ground at any given time, no doubt the dead presidents are continuously rolling in!

I think most the TG hating is from jealousy...looking at old sporting dog journals and bulldog mags 75% of them are advertisements for stud service and pups lol...TG has just been more successful at it then any breeder in bulldog history.If it was just about the dogs then they would only make wagers that would cover food and upkeep...but you know how the saying goes (HATERS GONNA HATE) lol
