just to get off topic the links section of this forum are these kennels ok to deal with or is it use at your own risk.

I don't know what the policy is here, Jacob......but I personally don't see how a board can "vouch" for anyone else kennel. Not in a business capacity, anyway. Surely there will be enough independent and one hopes, experienced opinions on dealing with any certain dog man or woman. That would mean you should inquire about ones that you MIGHT be interested in and even then, it's always best to go directly to them and find out what your feeling is on your own.

I personally feel that if a board Admin wanted to speak highly of another who breeds dogs, that is just fine. But I think that recommending them on a business level might be sticking their neck out too far in some cases. You're truly best off doing your own leg work for the most part and form your own opinions and feelings as to your own degree of confidence.

wwoooo here he comes ,watch out boy he chew you up wooo here he cums he's a man eater LMAO.

Like Blew8balls mentioned in his other post there are all types of degrees of man biters. The main one that almost all dogmen wont tolerate is a manbiter that will attack its owner like another dog.

...thats the one,,should'nt tolerate,,the only way is if he is the last of what you want to breed off and ya have no other choice,,,soooo,?????..had one way back the type who was afraid of nothing,(bit a few and done a horse),and gave the impression he just tolerates you cause your feeding him,,could feel his eyes follow me around the yard with his head just hanging out the box,,watching waiting for some-one to get in range all-ways felt he would drag ya in to the box,,no problems,,YET,,when it came to kid's he would roll over and do anything for them...got bit twice a long time ago by a what i think was a panicer when in a race he grabbed anything close to him...so was he a panicer..??.....def; some strange ones pop up time-2-time

Wow the wife changed her story from originally saying she told her husband to put the dog down because he was unpredictable, to just saying they were good dogs because she didn't want to give pitbulls a bad name haha how stupid.

I don't care how good of a dog in the future I run across. If he/she is showing real HA traits, not excite bite, but wanna bite somebody then that POS is good as [IMG]

I, like so many others, agree that not just one particular line or another will throw a man biter/eater. man biters happen in every line. same with color: a dog's coloring won't dictate whether he/she will be a biter or not. (although there is a thing/thinking called" black dog syndrome" where, if you research, most dogs in shelters are black, due to people thinking they're more aggressive, harder to handle, etc....) stupid thinking, if you ask me. i agree, as was stated, that a biter and eater differ, in that an 'eater' will bite, pretty much unprovoked, whereas as a 'biter's' might be the result of a redirect, hence, easier to ascertain, and therefore get out of the way of! is this trait genetic or learned? not sure. but i culled a man biter. never let the dog reproduce, just in case it is genetic. biter/eaters are tricky types of dog to deal with and, imo, takes a certain, 'up for the challenge' type of person to own. =big liabilities. glad for the years of experience but it's not something i'd recommend

thats just it why play with fire i would rather just play and then somtimes these fires get out hand and the breed dosent need that then you got the whole damn fire depatment on your lawn for what it was never worth it.

    Nice post and views Bulldawg...
I think the blackdog theory cant be ruled out due to history and statistics, its not a fluke that most atttack dogs are black...Ie...Rotties, Dobies...
While studants of german shepards, belgian shepards as well as Fila Braisilo and Cane Corso breeds have all noticed a black throwback that seems unpridictable and untrainable... All have also noted that these types have been seen in other colors but mostly black, regaurdless off the color most have commented on the human distance in the eye... I have been trying to due more research on this particular matter and have noticed this behavior in breeds that were bred for human agression in some sort or another and found it interetsing that similar occurances are happening with our breed thats bred for zero percent human agression...
Most black dogs are just like any other color dog, but I believe there is a rare throwback to a black freak that gives zero fuc#s, you might see a wolve like reflection if you shine a light in their eyes at night... I also have a theory that this eye indiffernce is what set them apart from other type biters, this type is most likley a wolve trait of lack of human empathy mixed with the human interference of creating a uncontrolable freak,IMO...
Please let us know the color of any manbiter you might have ran across...
The two we ran across were of similar looks from different lines, small in the back tapper to a bigger front with a big head and distant eyes...
Ones eyes were gold while the others were brown, both seemed to look at you like you werent there and in their way...
One was thirty pounds while the other was fifty pounds, the smaller one with the gold eyes was of parents that were closely related
of a 50 50 LittleBoots/Carver and Andycapp making him heavy in the hank blood which shows they can pop up anywhere...
The bigger male with the brown eyes was a doublebred Renegade who was a very affectionate animal and seemed to throw more of the same...
Both these males were based on two affectionate animals, Hank and Renegade which proved to me that they were not the norm...
Both these males were absolute freaks of nature in every catagory which makes me believe in the right hands these dogs could have made a name for themselves.
I know of another daughter of Renegade that had all these freakish traits only she wouldnt bite her owner but acted alpha and would try to run things,
she would eat a stranger up for being strange... Her being black didnt seem strange as being a female maneater which seemed more rare...
Black Pazmanian Jr. might excite bite your a$$ too, his offspring was even more fiesty and some didnt need excitement to attack...
I seen a twenty pound grown male that was off halfdead who was off Paz jr. to his sister, this little malemost of had the some issue that effected his growth,
he thought he was at least double the size of any dog he had in his sights and was hell on wheels...Hated eveyone but the kids, most of been a little man issue...
Again a black dog with gold eyes... Just the begining of bunch of dogs that got BLACKLISTED...anthroBULLDOGology...

I've been bitten more than a few times. Most of those times its been my fault or at least i could have handled them better or positioned myself better. I've never had a dog try and eat me! Lol! Mostly with pups under 1 year old I've had a couple get rough with the mouth but here is where I'll just leave it at this: a lot of people have no business being around game dogs, let alone owning one. If a strong willed, dominant, energetic dog doesn't know it's place it might just disrespect you.

thank you. the dog i culled, ironically, had Renegade in its ped, and was primarily WSK. and yeah, the dog would get "that look in its eye". would 'get in the zone', so to speak. good with me, but too unpredictable with the rest of the family. actually bit my spouse 2 times. forget strangers. extremely difficult decision for me, as the dog was great towards me. sux, but you gutta do what you gutta do. dog was brindle. nice post by you, as well

..it's "VERY important,THAT YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT TYPE OFF BITERS"....why....for example was given a shy dog(well bred) who was a biter,,the reason, he never saw out-side his yard or walked on a lead/etc/etc..he would hide in the back of the kennel when i came to feed him our put a lead on him...this is the reason he would snap and bite some people who had him any-way after 6 weeks he came round, walked on lead around the yard and then on the road,,his confidence really changed..and never once bit a person since,,and became very out-going,,now this can take a long time,,,so the dog has to be worth the work+time..shy/scare-biter,,??,,.food for taught
