    just wondering what do you raw feeders do in winter too put weight on em? just feed more or what? i askin cuz its gettin cold where im at and as i fed
    this morning i couldnt help but think shit im glad i dont feed raw!! LOL.

    Feed more and add fat. Beef suet is better than lard but either will do the job. Last winter was cold AF and my dogs made it through fine with what I fed them and a dry, stuffed house full of straw. I also did a home made broth that I've already started giving them these last few days because it's been so cold here already.

    Thankfully I never have to put weight on them. I never understood why anyone felt they had to, but I don't live where it gets cold.... ever.

    Well, if you ever dealt with cold weather, you'd definitely understand why people need to put weight on them. Just like a "fat" person will stay warmer in the winter, that works the same for the dogs.
