How to identify top level blood line from a pedigree.

Hi guys I'm just getting started in the game dog world, a few months my friend gives me a dog, but I want to know for example wich bloodlines the puppy does have, both sire and dam, but its hard to me identify the bloodlines wich the puppy comes from, can you help me a little to learn how to identify the top bloodlines in the ped?

To give a proper response... You cannot determine any animals pedigree without having proper documentation of the parents pedigree. So as for your dog, ask your friend to provide that info to you. If your planning on breeding, research the dog and understand the status. Too many backyard peddlers creating strays and un-trained dogs with piss-poor owners who perpetuate the "bad-breed" stigma all for a couple dollars. My advice learn the dog and love the one you have.
