As i have grown older and made so many mistakes over the years in all aspects of my life. I came to my on conclusion. #1 What am i searching for in a Bulldog and why ? With any lineage at any price, There is not a guarantee that a pup will turn out to be everything i want in a bulldog. So, I just decided to buy a pair of pups from different breeders with a Good Reputation for what i was searching for. Being from S.C. i drove 2000 miles to get one pair round trip, then i drove 2200 miles for the second pair to buy the best available to me according to what i was after. Was all that driving and money i spent really necessary ? In my honest opinion, Absolutely ! Not just based on the dogs. Based on the friendship that i have built with the breeders i chose to do business with. Rampage Kennels - Lady Rampage ( rip ) was a 1st class lady and became a true friend in all aspects of my life. That's priceless In my honest opinion! For the second pair, Dawn at Stone Row Kennels was 1st class as well ! Over the last year we have become true friends. I consider myself lucky to say the least. Buying bulldogs from a kennel can turn into a night-mare as i know several folks that have been trough some. IMO, Good people attract good people. At least it has in my case ! As TDK says it best. More important that a pedigree is Who bred the dog and why ! I certainly have learned that......

LIFESTYLE would be the most honest answer, and we all have different lifestyles...
The Family of dogs fit into my FAMILY and FRIENDS hands and conformed to thier LIFESTYLE, or they simply didnt exist...
The FAMILY we have were bred, raised to fit our INDIVIDUAL needs, wants or anyother task put in front of them...
I chose dogs that have gentle spirits for theraphy, that are in tune with humans and understand a baby is a little human and not a playmate...
I guess Id say I dont have much of a yard but more a family of dogs that are housebroken family dogs that tolerate eachother under a watchful eye...
We like to hike and camp and feel safer with a couple dogs with us for thier enlightened senses and protective nature...
Whether town or country, they better CONFORM and have the work ethic of an immigrant...
Both children and bulldogs should be taught this young or it will be lost alot quicker than it was developed...
Id hate to see generations of earnest predecessors go to the waste side so CULLHARD...
Culling doesnt nessecarly mean KILL, BUT rather place the undesirable in the right place...
I believe that theres a place for most dogs and the only dogs that deserve to die are suspect manbiters...
Seek the family of dogs from someone who has a similar LIFESTYLE as you and your chances of finding the right fit increases greatly...
With all that said, we all get culls... Cull | Define Cull at Dictionary.com ...

I went to a show in Italy and saw this bitch ,
    [IMG]
She was incredible , foaming , overwhelming energy , crazy proud, unique etc ...
I made some research and found out the bloodline in Poland , and being half polish it was enough to get the first puppy that i could from the same family .

Its a dream come true for me owning an APBT , and i enjoy it very much .

Never chose a family of dog, or any one bloodline , just tried to find and breed the best athlete's with the best athlete's not trying to copy anyone else's . Always trying to improve the breed and trying to go beyond what is on the ground today I feel this should always be what we try and do .

If I ever choose to breed a line it would be 100% Colby because these dogs aren't so popular anymore in the criminal circles. That way the chances of my pup ending up abused for the entertainment of psychopaths and blood money of the criminal element would be minimal.

I'm not concerned by the claim they aren't "tested". They're game enough because there are other, more dog-friendly means to test the gameness and exclude inferior dogs from breeding.

Dogfighting as the test for gameness is a flawed theory because barnstormers who, by virtue of a hard bite, or some other characteristic hurt their opponent quickly may never be tested in the pit at all. Also a dog can win champion titles in the pit and be considered "game" by defeating dogs which hardly fight back or jump out of the pit.

It can and is being done by those who care enough to do it based on the accumulated knowledge collected by the fighters of the past. Just breed a dog with a strong natural tendency to grip and hang on appropriate objects and exclude cold, aggressive and fearful dogs. You don't need one single event such as dogfight to determine your dog's temperament.

Yeah I used to test the gameness of my first couple dogs by running them 10 miles. If they could do it w/o drinking h2o during the run and maintain 10mph, a book said they were game. One of those would run the pads right off, he musta been dead game.
