Most Breeders today are producing trash dogs. If you dont breed to standard of the gamedog then you are breeding trash dogs....showdogs, there should be NO deviation to the standard of the gamedog, yet "MOST" everyone that deals in the show standard seems to make this excuse as this has become the politicly correct copout....to breed shiteaters.

I just bought a Gotti x Razors Edge pup. Couldn't resist, he was too beautiful. Razors Edge dogs are always huge from what I've seen. The guy I got mine from is working on posting a ped. The sire of my pup comes from do-goods "Smokey" The mother is from Ice Age kennels who is working on getting a site real soon. I'll post more info with pics in my gallery later. It's just nice to have a dog with some type of history to revert to.

Just to look back and know that my dog, like me, has ancestors. Just because it's not what some consider a "pit bull" doesn't mean it does or doesn't deserve a ped. I understand where you're coming from though. Besides he's a beautiful dog and will be worth something and I'll prove his gameness in weight pulling.

The only thing that you will prove with that dog is wether or not he can pull...that's it. It won't merit his "worth"

 

Amstaff, Pit bull, American bulldog it really doesn't matter to me they all look the same and have many of the same tendacies. I understand this is game-dog.com so having a dog related to what you consider a game-dog is fine with me. I'm not picky. This question is for everyone who opposes any dog related to a "true APBT".....

You ask me why would I want to own a dog that resembles a "true Apbt". I'll answer this way. Why would you want to own a dog that is considered game but it's illegal to prove your dogs gameness. Not all traits are always inherited. Only way to test gameness nowadays are sporting events so lets not start the history lessons on the bs topic about how game your dog is because of history unless you do what is illegal. Shut up and pull!

 

Why have a Ferrari when you can get a build-it-yourself kit to put over that Cavalier chassis? It's what's inside that counts. If you can't understand that, then quite honestly, you really have no reason owning an APBT. They weren't bred for looks, and the Staff and American Bulldog does not have what makes an APBT an APBT.

 

From what I've read an APBT is a game-dog and if your dog aint game then it aint an APBT. I personally can say that any dog I ever own I will never know if it is game because I won't test it. I believe my dogs can show me that same drive in weight pulling and agility.

 

Ok my male is all Razors Edge. I love him to death and he has an awesome temperament. However, he has no drive, is lazy, oversized, and has had FHO surgery for hip dysplasia on his left hip and we are praying the right hip holds up. All of this by the age of 18 months. Then there is the allergies. I don't even want to get into what that has cost us. Again, I love my boy and wouldn't trade him for the world but he is a couch potato. Thats my take on the RE dogs.

 

No your dogs cant, for one thing they are bred away from the gamedog. For another you have NO IDEA what it takes to shape and condition a dog let alone know if the dog is a prospect .....in other words you hope that you will beable to compete with your dog.

Your dogs lack the tools due to thier own genetics....

Answer this if you dare.....did this joker tell you that this pup was gonna be all you needed as far as competeing did they promise you that he will be worthy of breeding, in lue of that ped?

You're right I'm the type that loves any bully breed dog. My ass is out for you to kiss it now. BTW, my new pup will pull weights when he is mature. As far as competing, if he can or can't doesn't matter because he will be pulling weights either way.
