I don't spout policy im just saying what my shelter does, did I say any of the dogs bred on this site would end up in a shelter No but all im saying is If less people breed more people would rescue that's all I am saying, we all have our own opinions and this is mine I am now done with this thread, after volunteering with a rescue I know why I have this opinion and you say I have no responsibility that is your opinion but then again I don't care if you think that or not because it doesn't matter I take care of my dog, she is never off leash and she is spayed I am a responsibe owner and I try to save all pit bulls in the shelters I don't and will never breed because the dogs in shelters need homes more then anything my next dog will be a rescue you all say im a bad person all because I want shelter dogs to be saved

Yea you really have no concept of what most peopleon this forum mean when they speak of breeding. I can't speak for all here but I can speak for the majority of the people on here that I've talked a bit with, rest assured that none of the dogs bred by members here won't end up in your local shelter. And as far why not just go adopt one from the shelter, because we didn't wake up one morning and decide we wanted a bulldog, most people here have had these dogs longer than you've been alive. Chill out with the propaganda bullshit, that'll get you nowhere but on the shit list here. Take time over the next week or so to read as many threads possible to get an idea of what kind of world you've entered into before you start making all these unfounded comments

I didn't post that post because of this thread I did it because its an inspiring story about a dog who got a home even after being in dog fighting I just really loved that story, I posted it to share that dogs story

how are they going to brainwash me if it was not for the humane society sam would still be in dog fights and probally be dead but instead he has a new home with a loving family that was wrong of you to basically talk bad about the humane society by saying they will brainwash me, I totally support them because they save animals from neglectful homes

why don't you search humane watch and just see how they help ? they love people like you to help them make more money and only give 1% of what they make back to the shelters . then they buy stocks with it to pad their pockets more and still don't help the shelters more than 1% . how are they helping if they only give 1% of what they collect off videos like sam's . give to your local shelter and that helps not giving to the humane society of the US . read a little and then tell us if what they are doing is right .

What HSUS does is steal peoples property,yes I said it,dogs are property,they are not children,they are not human.They are animals,such as the cow you ate on your last Big Mac.That poor cow had no say on it's life did it.But guess what,I'm eating it anyway. Sam fights cause Sam wants to fight,Sam was probably wanting to do the very same to the other dog because that's what this breed really wants to do.Cats chase mice,beagles hunt rabbits and the APBT has a natural desire to fight with other dogs usually. It's called genetics and breed characteristics. They HSUS has already won you over with it's save the animals speech,but they took sam from someone that fed him and gambled with his life with every intent to kill him if someone didn't come up with an adoption fee. HSUS kills more dogs every year than every dogfighter in this country has probably killed in your entire lifetime. Unless you pay them an adoption fee. You know how these dogs die... A dogfighter (pre 76 of course) would usually take a cur and shoot it in the head..HSUS steals a dog,locks it in a kennel,throws it some cheap dogfood for 3 days and the drags it into a room,puts it on a table and injects it with poison,where it can take minutes for the dog to die. But they make it right by showing us commercials with pathetic looking animals while playing a sad song,asking for donations,that makes it ok I guess. That's your HSUS for you in a nutshell.

 

I'm going to get slammed for saying this but IMO all shelter dogs should just be put down many of them are the product of bad breedings just taking up Space in the world. I have nothing against people adopting but it's not something I would do I would rather buy a dog from an honest breeder breeding quality animals than save a shelter mutt JMO.

 

all the posts had me laughing so damn hard especially Cajun and okcdogman but really this lady will never get it... Plus like Old Goat said 1% actually goes toward saving these dogs, I'm surprised this chick didn't atleast see that all over CNN and damn near every other major news network... SMH oh well, stupid is, what stupid does lol
