  2. Looks like a nice piece of work. I put up a picture of the same carpet mill that I was using back in the day, with a picture of that same carpetmill on my advertisement in the Sporting Dog Journal.

You might have thought that I was some kind of flake and an idiot for asking $500.00 for my carpet mill. Needless to say I just let it ride and let the gang pile on.

The one thing I do know is that Bulletproof Kennels counted 7 losses in 20 years of matching dogs using that same carpetmill I had advertised in the SDJ.

Didn't mean to HiJack your thread, just making a point. I do, by the way, LIKE your carpetmill. PS

Thanks PS. I know of others around that build them cheaper and folks like them. But I got this one for more than a few reasons.
    (1) It's made less then 10min from me
    (2) It was a trade that got it for me
    (3) I've talked to a few people who've had Success with hounds utilizing these mills. It's a lot to do with the program and how you implement them, but a Quality piece of work is needed also.

Actually not making a dime off of it. The man who makes them sells them for the same. I got it with the intentions of using it, but finances are saying otherwise.

  5. I'm still using the same carpetmill from back in the 80s and 90s. They are Bulletproof. Changed the carpet on it many times, but, apart from that it runs like a swiss watch.........PS

On another note, due to my situation I'm open to REASONABLE offers on the mill.

regarding a carpet mill; does any one have some form of basic out line to a training plan for me? I have a carpet mill and got my dogs to start working it properly but I got not plan of action how to condition or work my dogs using it.
Something like how long, how many reps if multiple reps/sessions in a day and how many days a week
