Lol, tom is in it for the money. If you want an apbt in your pack. try the show lines. they are less aggressive due to selective breedding but there is always a chance it will try to hit your other hounds. A game dog is not for you, ive had 3-4 month old pups from the same litter that i had to seperate. imo it just wouldnt be a good idea unless you do the Crate and rotate technique. Which is no fun for the dogs or you(me) .

 

I could possibly get you the phone number of the guy I have been arguing with on Georgia Outdoor News Forum. He claims to have "game bred" pit bulls because they chase game - hogs and deer hence "game" bred. One of these might work out fine!!!

Would love to hear what your options are and what you are planning to do when the gamebred pitbull that you want so badly eventually decides to not be nice with your lab anymore. Most gamebred dogs don't need friends.

Mijn inziens is dat je niet echt in advies geïnteresseerd, want je hebt veel goede adviezen van leden op dit forum ontvangen toch negeren je dit en wil graag een "gamedog" doorgaat. Er zijn veel hondsoorte die je voor het doel kan aanwenden die je weergeeft waarom je een APBT voor willen bezitten, maar de kans is enorm groot dat je een van je andere honden dood gaan aantreffen als je besluit op een "Game bred" APBT.
Deze honden ras heeft niet de verkeerde media nodig en een goede eigenaar zal in belang van zijn of haar honden optreden.

The Saint, ik weet het dat deze mensen geen advies geven om me te kloten, maar ik wil echt een apbt van het originele type en ik had gwn het verkeerde idee over wat gameness was, nu ik dit lees hoef ik echt geen gameness,

Verde wist ik niet dat er showline apbt's waren, maar is dit niet the amstaffs ? Want dat vind ik echt niet echt mooie honden qua bouw, veel te plomp en waarom een werklijn amstaff als je voor de real deal kan gaan.

Ik zou ten eerste mijn honden nooit alleen laten bij elkaar maar altijd gescheiden in een bench als ik er niet ben.
Ik zou een teefje nemen en honden die bijten vliegen buiten ik een kennel, hoop overigens dat dit niet gebeurd .

Nu vraag ik mij toch af waarom het merendeel hier game pits wilt en heeft als hondengevechten verboden zijn .

Trying to define gameness to someone who's never seen it is like trying to explain the color red to a blind man! If you've seen it, there is no need for an explanation, you know it and you feel it. Its the reason why we're dog men.

 

Now you're on the right track herm, you're willing to accept the facts for what they are. A good bred staff or even a mix breed dog from the appropriate breeds would be good for you're looking for.

I had a cross dog out of a staff once who was decent with other dogs, but her mother was a well bred staff and no way no how was she good with other dogs. She would even tear males up and she would have killed her daughter if we ever would have let them near eachother. Hermienator just do your research like all these people are telling you and see the parents and see how they act before you commit to getting a pup. You might think some of these guys are being jerks or smartasses but they mean well, nobody that respects game dogs likes to see them in the hands of people that don't know how to handle them, it's just bad news and understand even dogs that are not considered gamebred can do the same things.
