how is it possible i have a blue puppy born from this breeding

my bitch just dropped a beautiful litter but im wondering why one pup is blue... the mom is a rednose, and the dad is somewhat like that ol' ironhead dog. I know the parents and I know that the people I got em from don't really touch that blue stuff when aiming for their game stock. I even kept my female separate from other males only exposing her to my male dog I wanted her to breed with.. if you can help me on this thanks cause im up at night tryna figure this ordeal out :confused:

The dam is rednose???? If you dont have a honest ped on her that could be a possible reason?

blue dogs can pop up if you have black heavy in the ped . what's the ped then someone can look back if they know the blood better and tell you more .

the whole litter intense black but one of them also bleu/black when you keep it in the light/sun

 

Maybe blue is recessive and both parents carry the recessive blue gene. Its dog breeding shit happens.
I seen a heap of blue pups at a well known breeders place off of two black dogs. Once again, it happens.
Now you can sleep....

thanks for replies yall. yes, the dam's mom and dad are both black and the sire's dad is the same sire as the dam's. unfortunately this pup is much weaker than the other puppies, im trying to make sure he survives.

Whenever someone says they have a rednose don't expect them to have lineage on the dog...my favorite is when u ask them do they have papers and they show u shot records..lol

To the OP, don't loose any sleep over it. If that pup was truly weaker than the others, the mother would have removed it. If she's still taking care of it, it's going to be ok.
As for the color, are you sure it's blue? I've had several people get a seal colored dog and think it's blue. Seal is black but in the sun it has an oil slick look.
