Smart dogs and with the Maloney staple of gameness, that man was so hard on dogs its unreal to hear the stories legend or whatever, glad to hear those digs still cherished, however they got crossed out the people that knew those families ain't nothing to snicker at

As for Tonka blood the best stuf was from the Tonka x red Baron line.
bred bij Anderson and Gary Hinkle. later Roger Elder put some serius efford in them as wel. back then it also proved that when you inbred on Tonka you lost a lot of strenght and mouth. and ended up with game plugs.

I agree some great stuff from the Tonka x Red Baron and might be the highest source of it still around now days, but i think the best was when Anderson bred it back to the Boomerang and the Heinzl stuff through CH Goldie.. When they inbred and took it back to the Bolio they lost mouth but that's like most things when inbred upon tend to lose mouth first. Tonka fame was that punishing nose style and a lot of his dogs were face or head workers of some sort. I think folks were looking for the great tools Tonka had which most dogs don't reproduce often. A face and nose machine like himself is rare, he was one of those offensive face dogs who wasn't just holding on, he was punishing you.
