so many blood lines

If you were to start a yard what bloodlines would you use and what would you breed for?

 

Boomerang dogs and i would breed for dogs that shit in the corner and don't step in their shit...

 

Totally depends what you are looking for and for what purpose? Educate your self ALLOT before even thinking about starting a yard or else your know different from the rest of them BYB that ruin the breed.

 

there is only one reason to breed if a fella care about his stock. The bloodline dont matter as much as the quality of dogs geting bred.

The real ? is what is the best blood you can get you hands on if you will drive a hour or hours or how much you can spend cause we all know $ makes things happen but you don't always need to spend big $$ to get gyps its who you know or can get to know that can slow up or jump start your dream. Most of all make sure you can take care of all the dogs it can be work and time consuming you have to do it for the love not the $ that can come later if you choose and you doing it right! So good luck do your research make sure you happy with what ever blood you choose thats most important and don't ever let anyone tell u that you can't make your dream happen but understand things may not and don't happen over night .

well u need to be going to college and chasin all them pretty woemen man..shit even if you dont know what u want to do u can go to school and get your english ,math etc all that kinda shit out of the way.

Well, you are only 18. And you don't have any experience with bulldogs so the biggest thing you need to get comfortable with is just taking your time and most importantly having fun. Realize how young you are both in age and in these dogs. Look at any high performance, purpose bred animal, like greyhounds or thoroughbreds, and you'll see you got to get in neck deep, and be there for a while before you really know what's going on. There's no shortcuts to great animals. There is no substitute for the love and labor that you need to put into dogs to make it work. Take your time cause you got lots of it. If you rush around looking for some secret sauce you'll attract the more unsavory types who ARE out there looking to take advantage of you. First, ask yourself what you are really looking for.

 

Man, your only 18. Enjoy your life a little before worring about being a slave to your yard. For every dog you put on a set up is chaining you to the property too. That means No vacations, no days off, rain sleet snow or sunshine you dont get days off with these dogs. Im not tring to discourage you just letting you know the severity of the commitment you are about to embark on.

 

I have been around a few bulldogs just never any dogs from a game breeder
Just some show dog lines like wild-hill kennels and pittrpatter kennels
And mine my boxer and black pit are from sheltet and my whitr girl my gf bought befor I knew her from someone who jyst hade some pups.
I know I have a long way to go guys. I just trying to get some more advice. You know.

 

Nothing wrong with that. The more prepared you are the better off you'll be in the long run.
It's actually nice to see someone doing their research before getting in the dogs. Good luck to you. Visit some shows in your area and get out and mingle with the folks that keep this breed. Always good to make contacts, could really help you out later down the road when your ready to jump in all the way....
