Don't let these folks fool you, the blood ain't hard to come by or offer anything unique from other bloodlines. I like the way Ch Pongo is put together.

Maybee in theroy studdying peds but u know fuckall about the family of dogs.. Don't know who breeds em for what or where thay are..... let alone know what the family brings to the table to know if it would complement what you're feeding or not. Been there done that all I can do is make honest evaluation from my own hands on experience, I believe in traits and from the breedings I've had the chance to evaluate this is the type of cross I'm looking for now if I get it honestly is a whole nother story!

 

In all honesty how would you know it's what you need or want without knowing anything about those particular dogs other than how there bred?

If you know this is the missing ingredient then I would guess you have seen the blood in ? if so you should go to that source to get the blood your looking for or I'm I missing something???

 

You will get consistent results linebreeding and inbreeding the good dogs you, then cross this to that ect...Saw a few KingFish dogs crossed to our Jeep stuff were they good dogs yes wish i had some of the blood still yes. But they were nt the best ever or make our Jeep stock great. The same Jeep we had then is better now due linebreeding and inbreeding on the good individual s. My big Cousin did a hell of a job mainting that blood, were crosses done yes to hevy Eli then the good ones bred back into the foundation line. You can't say my line needs thus blood based on a pedigree alone. Good luck sorry for rambling. Yis Old Man

 

Yes I have had this blood unfortunately it's nolonger available in the form I previously had it but believe I can only hope dogs bred similar will display same type of traits if properly preserved I've been breeding dogs for a while so I think I have a pretty clear understanding of traits and genetics but I thank everyone for all the positive insight!

 

There are a few up in Flint Michigan but ' most' king fish were over by the 1990s too many just breed to anything to sell the name kingfish

 

"I have a pretty clear understanding of traits and genetics"........... no disrespect to you BV. genealogy works one way and i don't see that you have that understanding. because you been breeding for a while & ain't getting result your happy with. here is your * golden ticket* buy yourself the best bitch nobody will sell openly. then pay stud fee to the best $ can buy. because if you need to leave the yard for breeding. it's time to stop putting a wig on them pigs. there still going to be pigs at the end of the day. There ain't no " art or kingfish" dogs nowadays because genealogy say so. but there is plenty of good dogs around nowadays.

 

First off I never said I've been breeding just workings apbts my whole life but I understand your entitled to your uneducated opinion considering you have no idea what I have on my yard or the dogs I've encountered but none the less you slander and find fault in my inquiry as if I were green to the dogs, if I was you offered no helpful insight to someone just getting started!

 

"I've been breeding dogs for a while" dogs are dogs & the genealogy is the same as how it works. what is uneducated about my assumption? buddy if someone just getting started listen to what was posted. they'd be ahead of 99.9% of the guys nowadays. green ,yellow,pink or purple that there is rock solid advice for anyone breeding anything.

 

Assuming what I have isn't working no just trying to preserve what have by duplicating similar combinations to what I already have present but I think your ability to evaluate the caliber of dog you have is most important when it comes to choosing brood stock!

 

idk what you have or doing. breeding & genetics go hand & hand it's simple. breeding with genealogy in mind you got to at least know how they work. your right bud the man behind the dogs is the biggest factor.

 

I agree completely that's why I was hoping someone would refer me in the right direction if they were familiar with working dogs bred like that!
