pitbull or amstaff?

hey guys, new to this site, but was basically wanting some opinions about my pooch, shes 11 months old, ive been told she is amstaff, and some people say pitbull, i know its hard to tell by looks but is there anything in particular i can look for that will help? heres some pics of my baby ...

Without papers the dog is just a mutt, no way to tell what breed it really is

Lol Oh god forbid you say mutt .. I said the same thing on another thread and was crucified for it. It's impossible to know how a dog is bred without having some sort of knowledge of the breeding between two dogs and the dogs behind them. A pedigree helps wether hand written or through a reputable registry. A mutt is not a bad thing it's just a silly term to describe a dog whose linage is unknown. Doesn't mean the dog is crap or not worthy of being someone's dog. Could be an apbt, staff mix, or a mix of something else without knowing the linage on the parents it's impossible to say either way.

 

Considering the car the dog is in is right hand drive, I'm guessing you live in a country where pit bulls are illegal, so call her a Amstaff. Good looking dog, enjoy.

 

yes i live in australia and yes pits are illegal here. yeah ive just stuck with calling her amstaff to be safe and yeah shes a real looker aint she biggest sook ever loves to cuddle up next to you

 

cool thanks. yeah i know the term mutt is just a word describing an unknown something, i didnt know that term a few months back and thought it was an insult haha

 

maybe she works for council and wants help identifying it as apbt...so they can pts.

she does have bullarab in her yes. mostly amstaff ive been told but she also has boxer, bullarab, and possibly some ridgeback too

 

Have her DNA tested pitbull won't come up but least your safe from council then I hope you don't live in vic
