Milos grand day out. lol....

Hi folks, had a busy day out with Milo yesterday and got some great pics so thought itd be good to share them. Milo is a great swimmer so took him hydrotherapy, he hated it!!! Ha. Was goin crazy to get out and only managed to get one decent pic, mustve bin the enclosed environment freaking him out. Others are a steep bank where we do hill work. He absolutely loves this, specially with a big chunk of wood in his gob!!! Lol.. all in all an intresting day out. Lol.. Love to know what you and your dogs have done so far this wkend. A few more with his tire and boomer ball, fast asleep now. Lol...Glad the warmer days are back, time to get some work in.

Cheers perry. Really wanna work hard with him this year and get him to a few shows, hes 4 and never weight pulled. You think he could still get it at 4. Awwwww bless perry, bet you and rudy are in bits. I had a good friend look after milo whilst I was on holiday at her majestys pleasure. Lol.. when I got back he went berserk, nearly mnocked me out with that fat head of his..pmsl. where in spain you staying bud? You having a good time?? Or missing ur right hand man to much. Hehe.

 

Good pics mate he's looking quite ripped in them pics word of warning thou don't throw stick for dogs I have herd of loads of dogs getting sticks rammed in to the dog of they stick in the floor and the dog hits it hard there was a chap on here it happened to his ambull got stuck down the dogs neck mate its not worth the risk get a solid rubber ball ;-)

 

Thanks mickey. Its actually a old chunk of railway sleeper, so nice and rounded off, quite a bit of weight in it so have him going up and down the banking with it. Ill hold my hands up tho I use to throw thin sticks for him until he nearly speared himself.....still see it in slow motion now. Not very nice.... any advice onbuilding some good solid back muscle on him?? Spring pole maybe mate?? Any good setup advice?? Cheers pal.

 

Ya spring pole works most of there body but the ultimate back leg work out for mine is a good working harness and 8 mile hike !!! Fast as u can walk to

 

I do a lot of walkin with them right now pal, just had them on collars tho, will harnesses make a great difference??? I heard the strong stuff harnesses are good.....whatd reckon??

 

I think it does mate the collars will help the front end the harness will do the back as long as he's pulling well on walks if he heals it prob wont make a diff pal

 

And strong stuff makes good stuff pal defo

Cheers mikeyntaylor, really appreciated and where gettin him there slowly. And ye mikeyg he is defo a puller, broke his last harness pulling at a horse....idiot, lol. Aint had one for a year or so now, did get him one but the material brought him out in a bad rash. Think ill have a chat with strongstuff. Cheers.

 

Ya I got my mate to make me a walking harness but its like half a weight pull harness same straps on the shoulders all padded I ask strong stuff N he didn't make them or want to start so I got my mate who makes collars and weight pull harness to kindly make me a padded walking one and also they make collars with the padding in to so wen the dogs pulling like a train it's a bit more comfy

Mate if u want a pulling dog let him keep pulling u more leads the better lol don't moan wen he pulls u over just say good boy work and go with him lol ( that was a joke)

But my big lad was prased for pulling me on walks now he's one of the top dogs in the uk for pullin he has broke many of leads pulled my mate into a Carp lake once swam 50 mt with my mate hanging on lol

My Stafford on the other hand my mrs wanted to walk her so I made her heal walk like a nice dog and can I get her to pull can I fook she has been told not to pull and heal so she feels the strain and expects me to say oi heal !!! So she stops n looks at me as if to say sorry I got excited ....doh!!!! Back to square one for her I think

 

Lmfao... that was funny as fuck mick. Can just picture ur mate being pulled back and forth in the lake, pmsl.I always encourage my two to pull hard, really wanna see them back legs pumping. Your mate still making these harnesses pal?? Pm me... cheers Gaz. Ps, ur big lad there this wkend??
