They showed the nice and 'friendly' one's on t.v because they are famous, they dont want to have something happen like Dmx did 14 dogs taken away from his property. Of coarse outkat is gonna make sure he has set a good example, did u notice though on the t.v show cribs he didn't mention haven a kennel or anything like that, he's tryin to be in the low down.

Now look at the cover of lil' Bow Wow's old cd cover, I have it and it has a "mean lookin pit on it" I will try and find it.

 

Okay peeps, I rented BOTH Ghetto Dawg movies.
I'm watching the first right now. It started out with 2 rednecks in a barn. The one shot 2x at something out of the screen. Then the other walked in. The guy who shot asked the slower one if "he seen what happened". I guess he stole a dama nd 2 pups from someone and shot the dam.
I'll give you an update later.

 

Okay, lots of boring stuff went by, and here's the update #2.
The rednecks called up this white gangster (think suit and BMW) and told him he's got some dogs for him for $5000. (the 2 pups)
Then they showed up at a match with a "big time" named Gresh. A lot of bikers are shown, along with african-american gangsters and some white gangsters.
There was a red dog and a black dog, both weighed 65 lbs! They showed then in a rectangle pit, and they were holding both dogs by collars on the sides (not corners) of the pit. They released WITH collars on,and then showed flashes of the two dogs to simulate fighting. I guess the black dog lost, because the Gresh guy told his man to shoot him.
The white gangster showed up in South Carolina where the pups are, and payed the man. The slow redneck made a phone call to a Latin sounding man named Graves,a nd told him something's wrong. (I guess this is the man the dogs were stolen from, and the slow redneck knew this and felt guily for the other man selling them)

Anyway, Please don't think I am being derrogitory for saying "slow redneck" or "white gangster", etc. These are characters and they are exaggerated in the movie. These are descriptions of those characters.

 

Lots of stripper bars are shown too.

 

you kno there are other artists other then rappers who like pit's... anyone ever heard of Korn... the lead singer was walkin one in their video "got the life" and they have a poster where they're posin with 2 or 3...

 

I can't believe you wasted $4 to rent these.

Okay, it's at one hour now, and here's the update:
Gresh, (the oen with the 2 pups) asks our main character Tariq, if he likes dogs. He said that he got two dogs form someone, but there's one he doesn't like, so he gives it to him. Tariq names him either Kane, or King, I can't tell, but we'll call him Kane. Kane is a red/rednose, about 50-55 lbs or so. Tariq is dating a girl with a son, and he gives the dog to him. They show the boy and the dog playing, sitting on the couch, etc.
Then they show clips of Gresh with the dog he kept, giving him a a shot and working on a springpole. Then they show Tariq, the boy, and Kane playing frisbee on the beach.

So far they are doing a good job of showing everyone that there is a bad side to these dogs, but there is also a loving and good side too, by showing two dogs out of the same fighting stock litter.

 

Well, I only paid $1.40 for the both of them. I had a credit for $1, and a 'rent one, get one free' coupon. She charged me for the older one, and gave me the newer one for free. (I love having friends at Hollywood! )

 

The big bad rapper did mention his kennel and showed some of his dogs,Their is a girl here that has one from him,she's about 60lbs. so I guess your right he didn't show all his dogs. And the big bad rapper came from nothing to become a millionaire to don't hate.And if you search the threads he's all ready been bashed on here before, its kind of funny how when these 100lb dogs are brought up everybody jump on the keyboard but its a lot of people asking questions thats going unanswered, help the people that needs help and let these people (raising 100lb dogs) do their thing because talking about them is going to change nothing lets worry about our game dogs they are the ones needing help.

 

Okay, this Tariq guy is a car theif and he of course works for Gresh. Tariq wants out, because of his new girl and her son. Gresh calls him down one night and tells him to bring the dog he gave him. As soon as they show up, Gresh lets his dog go (the brother of the "Kane" dog) and the next scene, Tariq and the girl are cleaning blood off him.
Now they're showing Gresh's yard, and his yard boy/sidekick feeding the dogs, and a small pit with two dogs in it. I took some pics of the screen of these dogs, I will have all the dogs posted at the end of the movie...

 

I've seen that movie. What happened in the beginning of the movie was the guys in NC had a liter of pups that were bred to this other guy's fighting dog. The owner of the male dog was supposed to get pick of the litter. If I remember correctly the female only had two pups or something was wrong with the rest of the liter. So the guy in NC tells the guy that he owes the pup to that none of the puppies made it. He then turns around and sells the dog to that Gresh guy. Gresh determines one of the dogs can't fight, so he gives the dog to Tariq. Tariq worked for Gresh stealing cars. He named the dog King. So, Tariq decideds to stop stealing cars and live an honest life with his girlfriend and her son. He gives the dog to the girlfriend's son. Then, towards the end of the movie Gresh comes back and makes Tariq fight King to one of his dogs.

 

Except that when the general public hears about pit bull attacks they think of this...

and not this....


The latter being a true APBT. By letting people do there own thing by breeding outside of the standard, they are endangering our beloved breed. People are banning the breed based on images of that first one, not the second one. I bet most people in general wouldn't know what kind of dog Chinaman was unless you told them.

 

The fact that Big Boi is a rapper has nothing to do with the way he treats his dogs, nor does it reflect the tempermant. I'm sure his dogs are WELL taken care of. I just went to his website and I saw him on MTV cribs. I think he has some good looking dogs.

 

I dont like pitfall kennels style of pitbull and I am not defending big boi as a breeder or dogman, but he as a solo artist nor outkast as a group have ever portrayed a "Big Bad" image. As a mater of fact thay are one of the most positive and talented ARTIST making rap music.

 

I don't think that he portrays a bad image either. What gets me about his kennel is that he says its home to the rare blue pit.

 

Yep. I love their music. They are so..."out there" in the rap game. A very unique style.

Did you notice dmx had them and they were taken away from him bacause he was not taking care of them and he was a artist in music, and notice there all gang bangers and thug for life type of people, the typical type of person that would have "Pit Bull's" for the wrong reason.<!-- / message -->
