Well i paid 1000 for my pup, I had a male and female pair recently passed away two days apart. Total bummer! The male was a Eli/Carver/Red devil cross that died of old age at 14. The female was a Eli/Carver/OFRN cross that was eight. She had cancer on her spine that spread to he uterus. I called TG and spoke with him about purchasing a pup a week before they both passed (Female was just starting to show signs of sickness). I spoke with him about her issues and he spent several hours of his time emailing me back and forth trying to help me figure out what was wrong with her based on her signs and symptoms. A week later i found out it was cancer and had to put her down. Two days later my male passed of old age. I emailed TG and told him what happened to the female. He told me he was sorry for my loss and hated to hear it. We talked for a while via telephone and he said, I know you have alot of vet bills due to your loss and i will sell you a pup from the 1200, and 1500 dollar litters for a grand to help you. I was sold at that point, Especially after the man spent several hours of his own time trying to help me. I have alot of respect for him anyway, But especially after that. That was pretty cool if you ask me seeing how he didnt know me at all at that point. So id recommend dealings with TG and any pup from his yard to anyone. I got a awsome little bull dawg and his yard is full of that calibur. Bnjf...enjoy your pup man, Congrats! I bet hes a good one! Il post some pics in the next few days of my new addition.

    In your opinion with intense training, do you think a pup from TG could become a house pet and live peacefully with other dogs that was introduced to him at a young age?

    will it live peacefully with other dogs? i doubt it lol, and wouldnt even try....if its pets u want get a pound puppy, if you want a bulldog....contain it like one

    Absolutely....Now TG has we will call different "levels" of Bulldogs.If you want something a little less of a handful you prob. would not go with say a dog bred like this....

    ONLINE PEDIGREES :: [395624] :: CH GARNER'S BOBBY PERU (3XW)

    Call the man himself and tell him the purpose of your dog...working/petbull

    Also,IMO I can take any dog that is reasonably stable stock no matter how its bred and make it a good pet.May be harder for some than others but most Bulldogs that are bred correctly are extremely Intelligent and stable.There are alway exceptions.In my limited experience the dogs bred true to the breed(not show or for color or any bullshit) the working dogs tend to be the most stable of dogs.The owner is the key.As much as I love this breed,it would be rare to suggest these dogs to just anyone.Most do not deserve our bulldogs and are not worthy.A true Bulldog takes a certain type of person.

    Can somebody post the article DR. Lector put up before? Its the one that spoke on why not to adopt a pitbull.

    I do agree with this....i have 2 that are in the house quite a bit.I could not leave these 2 alone EVER....I could come home to a mess.They just cant help themselves.If you have never had one its hard to describe.They have a inner intensity that at times is just off the charts.mine are so driven that without supervision(me as a buffer) a play fight can turn real ugly real fast.

    I have had success with a small breed of dog and an apbt, especially if its of the opposite sex. I had a very prey driven intense male in the 90's that would play with any small dog, I guess he didn't consider them a threat, or competition. I currently own a male dog from TG that gets along just fine with my daughters little Shipoo, but has a intense prey drive to anything else. But you would be taking a risk, and I don't believe "multiple" dogs would work, you would be asking for trouble IMO. Unless the dog was "cold" which does happen.

    So i gave my pup a little raw chicken the other day. I tied it to a shoe string and dangles it in front of him. My neighbors dog walked over (a Shepard mix) and he sniffed around in the area. My 10 week old puppy went off the handle and got as vicious as any dog I've witnessed . It was manageable to stop cause he's so small but I definitely would not leave this dog alone with another dog. If he was older he would have seriously done some damage. Now maybe I can train some of that out of him but like said they just have a certain level of intensity that will never go away.

    I don't understand, why do people insist on getting game dogs and try to control their dog aggression. If that's an issue why get this type of dog in the first place.

    LacedwithH lol gave the best response out of everyone that replied so far.

    To Coach, its funny how you said Absolutely , then go on to say TG has different levels of bulldogs LOL... there is no telling how a pup from any breeding will turn out when growing up, you just are generalizing shit because it all comes down to each INDIVIDUAL pup regardless of how its bred.

    Then to make matters even worse you go on and say you let your dogs PLAY together supervised??? You see the problem with that when talking to newbies is, you dont ever want to give them the impression that its aight to let the dogs play together supervised or not LOL.

    Also this is not directed at TG's dogs only , I am reffering to any line in general of game bred bulldogs. I know how sensitive some of you TG fans are you probably think I am talking about him dont you dont you dont you LMAO.

    Oh and yes I do know that BobbyPeru is a man biter and sometimes throws high strung pups that are sometimes man biters themselves but that is beside the point I was trying make when giving advice to newbies LOL.
