jagd terrier is from Germany..the Germans wanted to make a bad ass terrier and they did it..jagd is actually pronounced yack..so if you here yack terrier its the same thing as jagd.

The jagd terrier was germanys atempt to try and trump the british fox terrier.

 

Jagd is German Hunting Terrier, bred from Fox and Welsh Terriers in Germany strictly for hunting ability.

I would go with a Rottweiler!
I had some in the past and from decent working stock they are real good family dogs aswell as good guards and you can work them!
Second would be either a Hollandse Herder or Malinois as they are healthy, high drive and athletic but sometimes they are way too hypered.
I also have been looking at some Alano / Presa Canario.

Interesting breed but watch out for health issues!
As there are boatloads of them peddled arround even in SA but if you get one from high quality stock they are awesome!

 

If I did ever get one I'd have it imported. However, its unlikely ill ever own any other breeds other than the APBT. Even if they were illegal to own I'd still own them. Real outlaw type shit!
I just always liked the look of them though, built like a functional mastiff. However, They shit too big, eat too much and have short lifespans. Plus, it would cost a lot of $$$ to buy one and have it imported. Not really worth it to me to do all that.

I'd get a pack of Molloser Bandog Mastiffs and train them to hunt SPCA's for sport, go into live baiting them for amusement and entertainment :-)
