Deer Season Score

Last week we reset our tree stand and layed out apples and persimmons. We take every part of the deer. What we cannot eat goes to the dogs. We leave nothing behind.

 

i dont know what kinda deer populations you all are dealing with, but we could afford for some folks to break out the high-powers and start cutting whitetails down in huge numbers. honestly, i dont give a shit if they shoot them and leave em lay... we need thin them out and keep em the fuck off the roads. anyone else ever hit a big bodied deer at 65mph?

 

with a steal bumper . pigs or more of a problem . your car will flip .

nice buck. i wont be going out until next month. personally, i dont give a shit about the rack, sure if a nice buck wals out ill shoot it, last year a spike with horns that were horizontal came out, he was ugly so i shot him. the year before i shot the first doe i saw and went home. took every scrap of meat with me too.

yes sir i feed this every other day how often do you guys feed it? thought it my cause a deficience in nutrition if feed it to long with out giving dog food. if you can get the heart & liver they love this & gives good muscle tone. was told this is do to deer has a high source of natural creatine & the liver has the most. is this really the case?

 

dre you know they have to pay to have these bones dispose of so by you taking what they're not going to use save them $ so for that they should be glad to give it to you. try someone else. i know it just 5 bucks but hell you doing them a favor.

 

check out there theeth after the end of the season after feeding the deer bones. looks like they have been using whiting strips lol.

 

I feed it every day with no dog food. I feed it to the pups as well, I bust the rib bones into small pieces for pups that cant chew them up and add musle meat, fat and organ to it as well.

 

so the hounds don't need a source of carbs? my feed bill will be going down even more i'm try everyday for a while. thanks!!

 

As far as I understand dogs get their energy from fats and oils and have no real need for carbs. We just make sure the dogs are getting some fat wheather its raw fat or lard, especially when it gets real cold. I have been feeding like this for yrs and my father did before me. And havent had any problems and the dogs look great on it, less bloated looking than on kibble, and more muscle definition.

lmao you kidding she would of killed me,the buck was around 4yrs and his live weight was 192

 

hey guys, dont throw away the heart. eat it. seriously! put water, onion, and garlic into a crock pot and cover the heart with water. cook it on high for 3-4 hours. slice into strips from the top down, like the same size as a french fry. dip in cocktail sauce. it is delicious! i made one last year for thanksgiving, and before i had the opportunity to tell people what it was, it was being eaten. everyone loved it, and asked what it was. i just said it was venison and went back to cooking LOL

 

haha that's what's fun about it . don't tell just do it and then show her . but hide your nuts . nice to see the age on the buck .
