Sergio Martinez Vs. Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. Predictions

We are two days away from what I feel will be one battle in ring, let's hear your thoughts and predictions on the outcome.

Chavez has matured and become more scientific and methodical from his trainers, his father he has become a champ very fast in such a small amount of time, he is tall and strong but to me appears to be the slower of the two.
Martinez is the shorter but what he lacks in size more than makes up with his hand speed and power something that JCC former opponents never had.

On another note, I am looking forward to Daniel Ponce de Leon represent Chihuahua in the boxing spotlight.

 

I'm going to be watching the Canelo vs Lopez fight and catch the jr vs Sergio fight next week. I'm going to have to avoid all boxing reports on that fight till I see it lol. I think that the Lopez fight will be better then the Sergio fight. I say that because Chavez is going to get his ass spanked lol. Maybe I will order it, but man 2 good fights in one night. I do think that the Canelo fight will be more action packed than seeing Chavez just get hit in the face all night lol. I don't think that chavez is going to have enough stamina to keep up with Sergio. Babe dulce how did you like hearing Chavez say that he has been carried along the ranks of boxing. After rounds 6 it's going to be down hill for Chavez. By the 9th tko or ko is likely in my head,but it can be said that I have a good imagination. And yes the other thread you will see some of my analyzing done by me lol. Chavez will block all punches with his head lol...... Hopefully his face holds up better than Kelly's did.

 

I haven't heard those comments, but at least he can admit what we all know, and that I can respect. Of course he has a carefuly planned career, he is the fucking son of a legend, but now that he has matured its on him to defend the title that some claim was given to him, I really don't care how he got it, its been an entertaining few years watching him grow. I myself actually thought that his bro had more potential back then when Chavez lost his first match but was helped into a draw. I was proved wrong in that Jr obviously lived up to his potential, although not without my disclaimer that while Roach worked to help develop Jr in my opinion his work backfired with the brawling Omar who couldn't handle fighting a such a cerebral level.

 

Right on! Well, weigh ins are tonight on Hbowithin the next 30 minutes. Just airing it out there. I hope Chavez doesn't blow up to much in hydrating. I think 170-173 will be more sensible for him endurance wise in this fight. He is going to be on a constant move 2morrow night. I may end up paying for the pay per view, but it's going to be rough knowing canelo is fighting too. I'm a Canelo and a Sergio fan and knowing I can see the Sergio fight the following week on Hbo is what's holding me back from calling right now to order the fight. 24/7 though has Chavez not looking too good IMO with his training for this fight. 2morrow is judgement day though. Anything can can happen and from past fights and discussions we both know this lol.

 

Just saw the weigh ins for the Canelo/Josesito fight and J weighed in at 153 maybe another pound less if he took off that weighted rosario, LOL. Either way, it seems like it might not be such a blow out after all.

 

I missed it shit! Yeah I don't think it will be such a blow out. The thing is that Ortiz fought the fight that lopez liked. I don't think Canelo will be as wild as Ortiz, but Lopez is hungry. Anything is likely but I don't see Canelo loosing, but I don't see it being easy either.


Besides that I can't believe Chavez came in at 158. Wow! Standing next to each other the whole bigger deal seems to be voided. I can't wait to see what he will come in fight day....
