  1. Great post
Wonder how much training it takes to certify a dog to do this kind of work

I know just for SAR it takes 18+ months, and that's with an experienced handler, I can't imagine how many hours of training it would take for a military dog.

Thats more than awesome... Looks like a colby dog mix.. :P

You know every military and LEO personel that have had the chance to work with a service dog APBT say they are the best dog ever.. IRONIC ... We already know that the most decorated war dog or service dog is the Sgt Stubby a APBT from WWI/WWII era.

Thank you for sharing those pics! I have family in service and they love my bulldogs, they'll love these photos.

The APBT can out do any dog at what it was bred to do; then whip em when he's done .... Colby/Armitage

Stubby was in WWI. I just checked wikki, and they say that "Stubby's breed was unknown". Can't the dogs get ANY credit?

Awesome pictures of the dog in Afghanistan. That's got to make the job easier on everyone around him.
