Could anyone help?

Hey guys,

So I realize that I haven't been on the forum for long, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if not, my apologies

I don't normally do these things, but after being bugged by several of my friends, I entered Lego - my three-legged pittie, in the Fido Casting Call contest (for those that aren't familiar, Fido is a phone company here).. If she wins, we'll get to see her in a Fido ad in the near future, and I think that would be pretty darn cool if a pittie won it this year She's already skyrocketed from 7000th place to 1200th in only a couple days!

Theres been alot of bad press regarding these dogs in my area lately, and several.surrounding cities are considering implementing BSL. Theres even been some.question as to whether pitties should be allowed in the contest because "why would Fido.allow a 'dangerous dog' to represent them?"

SO.. I'd like to prove them wrong, and give this breed.a bit of good publicity for once! Partial proceeds if she wins will go to my local pit bull rescue (Hugabull).. so its all for a great cause too!

Haha sorry.. i figured since everyone here knows what i meant, that i would be safe. Lingo aside, any help would be amazing!

 

yeah i hate when they call the dogs that. there nowhere near pitiful and they dont need anyones pity they need owners who love them are dedicated to them and will fight for them and defend them on every front. all that shit aside yes i will vote for you and yes we do need more positive light on our bulldogs.

 

Honestly I wish you the best, but everyone is right. If you want to give the breed a good image and present them in a positive light, maybe start with calling the breed by it's proper name. American Pit Bull Terrier.

If we are ever going to expect the public to respect our dogs and us as owners of the breed, well we should at least be educated and factual when talking about it.

Im new to this but i think its great. Any you can bring a positive outlook to the public about apbt's i think you should.
