    A very valid question Ben.

I would venture to speculate that there are a good deal of individuals that do pay stud fees for a greater selection of pups from which to evaluate, but that being the case, I would think that they would not be calling attention to themselves. That is just my guess as to why not to many people are commenting along the line of having payed stud fees to get a full litter. Do the benefits outweigh the cost, is the question.

everyone has to start off some where if they want to base there dogs off of tg's yard. im not saying i want a yard full either. not because i dont like them, i just dont want alot of dogs. the dog i have off el negro that is arround 4 years is not so much human aggressive as in a man eater, but he is very excitable on the leash and is not a dog i would like to have around kids or strangers when he is excited. you can say he is an excite bitter, i will not hesitate to go in that route with my words with the dog i have that im mentioning on. he is not a aggressive everyday man killer though. the dog is very good with interacting with people. a very trustworthy dog to an extent. thats not the case when other dogs are around. when he is excitted i only trust my self to hold him (which is not good). i guess the best bet is to get a female from tom and then pay for the stud fee then do the selection process your self and cull out the bad HA aggressive ones even the ones like my own who are excite bitters. if i didnt like the blood behind him he'd be gone.. he's never been breed, but ill be doing a heavy selection process off his litter if i do breed him in the future. i want sound dogs and im not 100% happy with this one at the moment. he meets about 70% of what i like as far as attitude with people and his drive. still he is not 100% in regards to interactions with people when excited. i wont go and say all his dogs are like that, ive seen alot of dgs from tg and its not the case. ive seen dogs from other bloodlines act the same if not worse. its not the blood just the dog. thats just my 2 cents.

  5. Buy a female from Tom and cull out the HA aggressive ones? But, I didn't think that the yuppie pit bull clientele that he has would do that.

As far as your El Negro dog, so, he is not a man eater but an excite biter. You are the only one that is trusted to hold him. You would not have him around kids. Sounds like he would not be good in a pet home. I guess that is why we see so many news updates with pit bulls. I guess this would not be listed on any of his stud or puppy pages? Thank you for pointing all this out before I went and gave him 6 or 7 thousand for a few pups.

not sure if your getting on my case. is that what your doing? i only posted to inform. you dont have to preach about the news. i know all about it. i have a female who meets my standards, but i never bred her to my el negro dog because of his attitude. im not sure if your being smart. ive seen dogs from floyd himself who were manbitters. ive seen dogs from pit island kennels worse off than mine. we ended up culling one of them. the el negro dog is only like that when he is within gripping distance from another dog. im his handler so im who i trust with my dog.. thats the point i was getting at. and kids i dont want this dog around kids, hes never been around them so i figure its too late for that. he's not the dog for that. im giving mine another year to a year and a 1/2 at most to improve and prove himself good to breed. if it doesnt work he may be culled, or handed off to someone i trust thats manages there dogs the same as i. my previous post however was not to insult garner nor the line. its only my case, as far as i know. i havent heard too much news off elnegro to say the whole line is like that. my dog is a straight outside dog too. just trying to inform people on what i have. if your trying to judge me go ahead, i could care less.

i live in bum fuck Egypt bamaman lol. that is the only reason i still have him alive for the moment.

  9. Not getting on your case at all. I just think it is interesting to here honest takes on the hounds that come off of the King's yard. Not saying that there are not HA aggressive dogs in every line. Not saying you do can not do what you want with your own animal. Not even criticizing the El Negro/Frisco dogs. Just saying that your honest take is not the norm on these dogs

I have a couple off of Dynomite that range between 40-45 F and 49-55 M, average size and good with people but human aggressive man biters can come from all lines.

so you would cull excite biters AHHHH ! Well thank god you didn't get your hands on the chinaman dog because you would have culled him, since he was very well known extreme excite biter. then you go and get a dog from a yard that is based on that dog. well i guess you did it your way

  16. Does seem a little strange but maybe that was his only choice to buy a hound. Also, do we really know for sure that that yard is based off Chinaman?

its not for you to understand nor lakewoods. it is what it is. i like garners dogs and it wont be my last, but i was just saying its probably better to do the selection process your self. i probably wont get rid of my el negro dog. i like his blood too much and him lol.. ive seen more than a few garner dogs and not all are excite bitters either. it is what it is though. i was more specifically speaking on conformation showing too. basically he is not the dog for that event.

    nice fucking dogs too pirbul!!!!!
