Mother and pup ?

    Fellow I know has a litter of pups on the ground .He is saying that the mother is singling out one pup and packing it away from the rest of the litter,any ideas a the bitch would be doing this.

    something is wrong with the pup. the mother knows and doesn't want to waste the energy and time in raising an unhealthy pup. If your friend choose to save the pup and is successful he will most likely find out later down the road what is wrong with it. From others who have done this heart problems tend to be what pops up.
