gunna be a good one.carl is as game as they come.when he fought tarver he showed he had heart.got rocked a few times but came straight back at him. he fights risky imo,but that makes him exciting.when is it?cos i thought ward had pulled out due to sickness??

andre ward is undefeated and carl froch has lost 1 but like you say dt he is as game as they come i"ll have a wager on froch winning...

 

I'd like to see Froch win the tournament,and I think he can.

 

some one explain the lay out of this Supper 6 Showtime layout to me. i seen it once and i was thrown off by it, i just didnt understand it. if the fighter wins his fight and scores the highest point they move on to fight another fighter that same night untill champion stage? it was like MMA/PRO-WRESTLING to me with the theatrics before entering the ring and the advancement of the fighter. i really didnt get it, its different from my normal HBO/paperview fights im used to seeing. im not knocking it just want to understand it a bit better because i dont have showtime either only HBO. it looks like it will be a good fight between the two hope your guys win.

 

It is a bit different for boxing.I don't remember if the middleweight tournament in 2001 had the same point system.It was risky for Froch,Abraham,Kessler and Ward to enter this because they were all undefeated at the start of it.I beleive it's 2 points for a KO victory,1 point UD,and no points for a loss.The 2 highest scores go to the final.The reason for the point system was so that all these guys would face each other at least 1 time before the tournamnt's end.

 

Froch has a great chin and is very game but I think Ward will pick him apart

The fight I want too see is Bute/Ward or Froch/Bute, either would show who's really the best at Super middle

 

Think it's a real 50/50 fight, ward has slightly better skills while Froch trades on his chin and power, To me Ward is a more athletic Hopkins'esqe type fighter while Froch is a come forward fighter that has underrated skills, he had a very good amateur career. Think it will be a great fight and im somewhat on the fence but if I had to choose I'd say "If" ward can survive a scare or 2 he might just out fox Froch, but then again....., i don't no, should be good me thinks

 

I want to see Froch vs. Bute too.That will be a good one.I'd like to Froch vs. Pavlik also.

Oh yeah that's very possible lol.I'm a big Pavlik fan and hope he can get back to where he was at before the Hopkins loss,but Froch would be a big challenge.I'd expect nothing less than all out war if they meet lol.I still want to see Andy Lee vs Kelly Pavlik.

Froch is tough, but IMO of course, Ward is just going to be to fast for Froch. Ward in 12!
Ward x Bute would be a great fight, Bute's newly found body work might slow Ward down enough.

ward is a great prospect, and will improve greatly
