like pit and am bulls......the kennel behind the blood is more important than the dog.

Tosa in the US are large fat curs. Get a game bred tosa from dragon kennels Korea if you want a honest dog worth the time and feed.

Those Chimera Kennels dogs would have to be the nicest looking big dogs I've seen.

I have some really good Tosa first hand experience for years. We used to import Jap best and also pups. We had a couple that were rough and that's the best thing I can say about them. The reports you have probably read heard about more like wrestlers are true. I knew of a Presa that was supposedly too big for the APBTs 50 miles west of us to handle. He was brought and i heard a rough Tosa out worked him but also had 35lbs on him as well was also being a ARBA CH. Was told than a dogman from Oregon bought a Tosa pup and mix with his APBT stocks and we never heard about them or him again so I doubt they were any good. Like I said a rough one is even few and far between or so they say. And I agree no idea why heads choose to bandogg. There are breeds out already covering all bases. I guess backyard breeders mature into papering their own blood lines and then graduate to created their own breeds. Just my opinions

this is why pitbull get bad names because of this type of posting (giant fighting dog). also the bandogge mastiff will too. this is my opinion. and figthing dogs in the usa is illegal

tosa are matched in 3 divisions. Light, middle and heavy weight. 50 kg being classed as light........these dogs from red dragon kennels are not the large fat show curs being bred in westerm countries.

I disagree, most bandogs are bred to protect , they make excellent guard dogs, a true game dog will lick the intruders home and open the door for him lol.

  11. I have often wondered about the tosa x pitbull cross. I am watching a lot of video out of china in regards to tosas and tosa x pitbull crosses. I can definatley pick out the pure tosas and pick out the crosses after viewing so much tape.

China is an open market for dog fighting in general. Most of the video is ametuers fighting just about everything into just about everything. That part that pisses me off and is the big difference between asia (china) and north american practices. I see conditioning and lack of knowledge being a big problem for these guys even when I view tape on the more professional scale. Nothing disrespects our breed more than throwing a cur, overweight, out of shape, old excuse for a pitbull..(a fucking chinese pitbull at that) and putting it against a monster of a dog ie. tibetan mastiff, tosa, central asian ovcharka, kangal whatever etc.. and showing the larger dog defeat it and then call the larger dog "superior to a game bred pitbull". Bullcrap, absolute garbage. I would love to visit that country with a 5 of our best and challenge the whole of what China, Asia, whomever else has a mouth can offer, video tape it and post it for the world to see. And whenever a stupid post or question is arisen as to what canine reigns supreme, we can shove that video down their throats each and every damn time!...
okay then...back to tosa x pit crosses

Like I said I often wondered about the various aspects of the cross and more importantly the results. I think adding gamedog into the tosa would only heighten its ability. I am not a big fan of the traditional asian rules as I beleive it limits the evolution and fighting genes past on from generation to generation. I would love to see in 50 years what the tosa x pitbull crosses have evolved into as long as they kept with cajun styled rules.

I've had Tosa's. Cant really say a bad thing about them. They are not pits but they are not curs by any means.. My Female walked around about a buck thirty five to forty(lean) could hop a 6 foot fence without touching it. She was pure fire and wanted to go all the time.. As far as protection goes they are decent but more of a fighting breed then a protection breed.

Your wrong there just a touch of mastiff blood makes it not a pitbull any more my bandog has 25 % mastiff blood and he will not ever ever ever lick an intruder he is a real gaurd dog but a big softy with the family and even more so with my 2 year old

Once that cross is made it's not an apbt any more but a cross breed
