I wouldn't use Eukanuba, weren't they involved in that recall where all those dogs died from melamine poisoning?

contains some more fat and protein.

I know 2 different people who are using it and they are satisfied.

Yep Eukanuba was on the list. That seems bad to me... it means they don't check their ingredients for safety... here's a list of brands that were involved:

Talking about the 2007 pet food recall. Ingredients from China were contaminated with melamine. Thousands of pets and livestock got sick and died from it.

My dad used to feed Alpo and Ol' Roy, he stopped immediately after the recall and now we (mostly) avoid brands who were part of the recall...

I use this along with ox heart as the raw feed an am thinking of switching to orijen regional red but am wondering what amount of raw feed to run in with it seeing as orijen regional red in very high in meat protien? Personally I'm goin to keep the raw the same an try dif amounts of dry feed. I don't think raw feed can be topped

I really like raw feeding too, Bonnie has been on all kinda kibble... low quality, high quality, medium quality (now)... but she did best on raw and she was only on it for a very short period of time! As for how much, I would think it wouldn't matter what percent of the food is raw and what percent is good kibble. It would still be better than kibble by itself.
