April 1960 Matches put on by G.A. Trahan

I have all the matches set up in 1959 printed in
Your Friend and Mine vol. 7 1959. However at the end there is a teaser about some matches between Gaboon's "Country Boy" and L.P. Lejune for a purse of $l000. I'm interested in reading about how this match went. would anyone have it? This convention was to take place in the Southeast.

I searched first but wasn't able to find anything on Country Boy. I also don't know the dog that Lejune was bringing. Country Boy was only a 1 time winner but made short work of a 3 time winner that had gone 2:45:?? with one of Country Boy's brothers. Country killed him in 1:45.

LeJuene used Pete Harrell's Topper 3xw who was sired by Dibo. Country Boy barnstormed Topper even though he had a bad case of heartworms & in 15 mins Topper quit on all fours.
Country Boy quit in his first match against Boudreaux' Little Man in :33, but went on to beat some great dogs like Topper & a dog named Lopez' Bob Tail who won a few

 

Thank you for that! I am offshore and have a very slow and limited internet. I'll be more than glad to post up some of the other matches when I get better internet. Which will more than likely be at home in about a weeks time.
