Damn man, nice launch on that, seen a lot of those builds like that and you are keeping traction to the ground! I love the S10, not only the built ones like yours but that 4.3 V6 is pretty fun. Got a buddy who has twin turbo set up, way more money than what is worth to build but cool build. I currently have a Sonoma I am working on, once the engines gos, we are going to do the 350 swap with TBI (cheap and easy) or maybe 5.3 with fuel injection. I currently have a 03 Sierra with the 5.3 V8 and about to do the 6.0 head swap on it , built 6.0 head with a mild cam, headers and adding duals with it to give a nice little growl. Not super fast by far but fun for the mud, 4 inch lift, 33 tires but it will move down the road decently good IMO. I miss racing, I start American, went import, now back to American again. What are running under the hood? I bet your supsension system is pretty sick on that truck or you are just bad ass launching correctly.

Nice truck. Been into the old muscle cars since I was big enough to open the doors. Passed my old camaros, chevelle and trucks down to my kids. Now all my time is for me and the dogs. Of course after being around them all these years as soon as one fires up the adrenaline still starts to flow. lol

There's 1 track we go to that has a 5.50 (1/8) HEADS UP RACING and the other 2 are bracket racing. They have a class called the "QUICK 16" and we usually qualify around 6-10th in that one.

The best the truck has run is 5.446.

It's a 434c.i. SBC, with NOS set up Progressive. On the better run 2nd VID we run 5.487 on 150 shot.

We got the better runs if we think we need the wheelie bars.
