Bull Terriers

What are your guyses thoughts on the bullterrier breed?

 

We have a few. They need alot of exercise and attention. Our dogs have alot of drive and are very terrier like. i dont think they r for everyone.

 

i like them there pretty cool they have alot of prey drive and are more than willing to work

Absoloutly 100% can't stand them. The ones here are so dopey it's almost sad. Friends have had them, uncle's got them, my grand dad used to have them and they've all been the same.

 

It must be the Aussie stock, i think they are the most useless cur bred , ugly peice of shit that exists, the best use i can find for one is to hit it with another one.
I am yet to meet one that is smart.
Weird thing is ive come across alot of mini bulls and i like them smart quick and inteligent. Go figure.


I would own a fat blue low rider bully before i would own a bully, and that is saying something coming from me.

 

I have game dogs and bull terriers they are both there own breed y'all can start bashing me if you want but Ima tell you now it's that terrier that makes are dogs take it or leave it:dogkiss:

 

It must be! I swear they are just too f'ing dumb for their own good. My old next door neighbour had one from some bullshit show stock semen, my dog (then 3-4 months) used to piss on the silly buggers bed right in front of him. He'd just run around in circles and watch him do it. I must admit my dads old man used to work his dogs on pigs earlier in his day, and that would've been around the early 40's. I don't know of anyone that works them here in their pure form today. There's a few x's getting about though.

I have been told by many they can be great and also smart, im just yet to see one.

 

I had 2 of them and when I get another house dog it will be a Bully.And if I didn't have Bulldogs I would have to say a bully would be my 2nd choice.To each his own.

 

This is true. I just don't think we've got the right stock over here. Their heads are wrong or something. Too many years of shitty breedings I'd say! They're in nearly every pet shop around here.

 

You cool junk yard I know what your talking about the ones i got drive me crazy sometimes they bark 24 7 and got lil hampster eyes so you don't know what they are thinking but the ones I got are gritty as a mofo that's why I like them but ain't nothing better than a good game dog

 

I have a mate who loves them to death has had many, he even had one that he taught to sniff out weed on people lol. His hippy dog wouldnt let the person leave till they emptied their pockets apparently it was a good party trick. We were training his new one and i swear it was the stupidest thing ive seen on four legs, ive seen smarter sheep and cows, he justified it by saying it was just stuborn. I couldve kicked the stubborness out of it i swear. For the most part that is what i have seen.
But as i said earlier ive seen alot of the miniture ones and they were nothing short of awesome little pocket rockets with plenty of drive andsmarts to go with it, and a willingness to please.
My best mate is in the market for one now so we are about to go looking at some from show dog stock, i am going into it with an open mind and have been asked to keep my mouth shut lol.

 

ours are minis but some run around 40 pounds tops sometimes.

 

I want a mini bull or a staffy bull as my next bitch. I've always wanted one and figure now would be a good time.

I like them, the real ones who can work.. not the ones bred to prance around a ring and have an egg for a head..

r dogs r all from working stock from overseas. I dont know of many that still come from working stock. we will be weight pulling our dogs soon. so we will see how that works out.

 

I had one for 14 years not the smartest dog ive owned, make great pets thats about it...
