I heard Frisco quit up in Canada.

To answer the ?........I would have built my whole yard around Rascal with crosses and still want that blood with Jeep(off BO)/redboy.

and then you follow it up with saying a dog with so many wins isnt a cur dog after it quits (lol). Whats the magic number? LMFAO... Chi Chi is a legit dog to consider, was the owners favorite and a great dog beforehand. Their wasnt anything personal behind it, he made the thread and I can throw any dog out there I want. He can stick up for himself and no need to here anyway. I'd breed to Simba or Nico after he didnt take hold to IBM, no problem.

a cur is any dog that quits...cur doesn't always mean rank, you can have a damn good cur.

Hell no, it goes back to ppl saying a cur is a cur point blank period.
Not the biggest TG fan but love the Degrees of gameness. Its right on point, and sometimes you just physically can't go anymore no matter how much will and want to you have.

this is the difference between a dog man and some body who likes bulldogs, if a dog does a record like that she is a monster point blank and nothing else to say! These dogs are not machines, they are not indestructable, they do feel bad, they do feel good, they do feel so so and real dog man will recongize a difference between a bad day and a cur. There is only so many times a dog can punch in the time clock before it is time to retire. Being a good coach is just as important as having the players on the team. The infamous saying that is in American culture that people don't realize, "Every dog has their day"! didn't just pop up because it sounded good but because it is the truth. Just wasn't her day that day and a cur can accidential be passed off as a good day because there is luck. I know of this dog from years ago, that was being talked about as the best Strickland's Nailer bred dog of the pre 1976 era, he was a bad boy, it hit a squirter in 15, next thing you know he is being talked about like he was god of gamedogs. Sold two years later, cur of curs, had nothing at all behind him so what you read, what you hear, what you see don't mean crap until you feel it and know it in your gut about that specific dog you own and obviously the names behind those curs struck a gut feeling in great dogmen and I think crenshaw had a better eye for curs that could prouduce gamedogs better than anyone in the game ever. Those so called listed dogs maybe didn't have the coach when they were on the playing and it wasn't the dog himself or herself! Some people will never understand what a great or cur dog is even if it bites them right between the legs.

I would breed every female I had to rascal without a question one. I wish I had more of that laying around as an eventual out cross every couple of generations but oh well, I think what I got will work till I save up enough to clone rascal and jeep and redboy.

too many people get hung up on the word cur. it is what it is... whether the dog had a good day or not, if it can physically go across and does not then its a cur. no real need to get feelings hurt over three letters.

true that! you figure by now people would be use to seeing many more curs thanchamps. the trick is to make barnstorming curs that finish fast. and thats whatis happening in this sport. a win is a win. i could care less if it was a cur do to the facti aint a breeder. just give me a winner. yis!
