Who's ever had AC visit them out of the blue ? How did it end up for you and
Did u have to change anything around or was it all above board ? I'll start with
    mines.

Usual nosey / jealous neighbour, didn't like the fact I fenced my back off.
Animal control knock on the door, tell me they received a complaint that I never
Walk my dog (despite walking her for 5 miles everyday of the week ) that she's
Tied up on a chain 24 7 with no space to move ( even though she's on a 20 foot
Chain ) and a lot of other crap.

Well she checked out the pup, the kennel, water and feed and. Was highly satisfied
    By the time she left.

It was just a little embarassing and a bit inconvenient but that's all it takes to have
AC creep up on you, over someone elses malicious complaints !

I;ve had them at my house 3x this year. Same reason as you, neighbors don't like the dogs and figured I was hinding something since I fenced in the back yard. Instead of thinking I was being a good neighbor cause I didn't want them to think I was an eye sore. I closed it up to make it look neater. I've had my dogs taken in the past. So, AC and I are not on good terms. I asked for a warrant and that didn't start the conversation off to a good one. They claimed a neighbor said I had a wounded dog in the back yard. I said they were full of shit. They said they would come back with a warrant. I made a verbal deal that if they found anything wrong then they would give me some time to fix it. Of course the deal was off if there was a hurt dog in the back. I knew there wasn't and it was a lie. So I didn't worry to much. I just didn't want them leaving and handing me a bunch of tickets. My dogs aren't licensed and none of them have prove of a rabies vacination. Plus I am legally only allowed 4 grown dogs and I had 12 at the time. So I gambled a bit. They thought everything looked good aand were impressed with my set up for outside dogs. They of course metioned the licenses and the amount of dogs I had. They said they would stop back aand they wanted me to just put flaps on the dog house doors. That's it. I told them to give me a few months to get down to the legal limit. They came back two more times with no problems. I haven't seen them in about 8 months.

I am expecting them back over the winter tbh. She did say someone is more than
Likely to complain I have the dog out in the cold lol.

My two kids have asthma so I couldn't have animals indoors permanently anyway.
However the lady was fantastic so I'll give her that courtesy.

NEVER let these people on your property without a warrant. Nothing good can come of it. They have no right on your property without a warrant. Do not trust them. They will lie and say everything is fine/looks great and then get a warrant from a judge to raid your yard. The judge will issue the warrant based on their eye witness accounts because you let them on the yard.

If you tell them they cannot come on your property without a warrant, they will lie and act tough like they will come back with one. Call their bluff. In order for a judge to issue a warrant he needs substantial evidence of a crime. In most cases, no judge will issue a warrant based on an anyomous call from a neighbor. 99% of the time, the neighbor didn't call anyway. It's just another lie to give them an excuse to knock on your door.

Even if you have nothing to hide, do not let them in your house or on your yard.

    Good luck

im dealing with the shit now! what a pain in the ass . I was a dick at first but i made a verbal agreement also and allowed them on my property. I had to produce certificates of all my ear croppings or i was facing jail time. i also have to put gravel in all my chain spots and i have to build insulated dog houses and they have to be painted. i also had to get rid of some dogs till i get my permit. But i still have a big yard, just waitin for them to inspect me again this week.

I just had a lady literally call 911 on me 2 weeks ago. (talking about it being cruel to have dogs outside all the time and why can't I let them inside:rolleyes:) I asked her to leave my property seeing as it's posted and within 5 minutes had 2 Police officers at my door, I stepped outside my house, shut the door behind me and asked what the issue was. They said they got a complaint from a neighbor about cruelty to animals and barking dogs. I told them my only neighbor is home (that isnt in a grave yard anyways...lol) and they could easily go talk with her as to the care of my dogs since, she is, after all my only neighbor and she would tell them how she only hears them when they see something which the 74 year old widowed woman that lives in a not so great area loves about them (she talks to them while shes out gardening...lol)

Where we were standing was in in clear view of my yard from a distance. I told them they can clearly see how well kept they are from where they were at and they agreed. Told me they had to respond due to it being a 911 call (which I thought you got introuble for if it wasnt an actual emergency and since when is barking dogs and emergency) Anyways they said she had been drinking and that she wasnt really my neighbor she lived the next street up and a few house down. Point is, if you agree to let them in and they happen to see ANYTHING of intrest or suspicious, they got you now and don't need the warrent, at least without the warrent and no probable cause you got a minute to clean ship.....If it were dirty to begin with, if not then Fuck them, send em on their way!;)

I do not dispute that most of these organisations r completely fraudulent in
Ways they sometime deal with you. However where I am, they seem to be miles
Above the scum tactics the rspca employ.

None of this bull crap about dogs looking like outlawed breeds or any of that crap.
If ur mutts healthy fed watered warm then that's fine with our lot. The rspca seem
    To think they're effin mi5.

I live on a private road in a city.there are only three duplexes on the road.Since the road is not maintained by the city but by us it is posted private road no trespassing.

my garage faces the road.I used to get one dog started on a tread mill start the other and get on the exercise bike between them. This comes in handy during the winter time when it gets dark early.i walk my dogs 5-6 miles a night and in the winter used to add about 20 minutes on the tread mills to make up for the lack of daylight.I`m a fat bastard and so is my male.

Some one called me in for cruelty to animals and training fighting dogs.Thats what the AC said.I think it was one of the idiots that drove down my street and stopped and just stared at me and the dogs. It`s happened a couple times and I have to get off the exercise bike and ask them what they are looking at.I know it`s none of my neighbors there either Okies or illegals and we have no problems.with out the garage door open theres not enough room to plug the cords in for the fans and treadmills and be able to get around to load the dogs on and for me to get on the bike.

They could see the dogs have tags shots water food and are healthy. And left on good terms and have not been back.i no longer run the dogs on the treadmills. We walk in the dark now for longer.I don`t want to take a chance it happening again.

I feed a few dog’s for some very good friends. One is my best friend, a State Licensed Veterinarian, the other an Attorney that my daughter works for as a law clerk right now while she‘s going through Law School. As you can imagine, I keep them on my yard to help them avoid the unwanted aggravation, attention or harassment by animal right’s activist and extremist. Unfortunately several years ago the neighbor that lived directly behind me (where my dog lot was previously located) was a staunch supporter of Peta and Dog’s Deserves Better, a group that was founded by convicted dog thief Tammy Grimes. That woman tried to make my life a living nightmare for over a year. After my local Sherriff and Animal Control refused to adhere to her rant’s and take my dog‘s from me (they visited me and found absolutely nothing wrong and I even farmed out a pup to one of the a/c officer‘s), she then had Peta contact my State Attorney General’s Office who in turn raided my home during the middle of the night which included having men dressed in all black with ski mask pointing automatic assault weapons at my wife with a pacemaker and sleeping children in their bed all while they awoke screaming in fear of their life thinking we were being robbed and about to be murdered. All of this happened without the knowledge of my local Sherriff’s department until they physically broke down my front door with a No-Knock Warrant and my alarm (ADT) automatically dialed 911. Needless to say and to make a long story short. I now own the property behind me and my wife and I settled out of Court with The State in a non-disclosure agreement as to the settlement terms. All I can say or highly suggest to anyone who owns this breed is for you to do this, go to a sign / vinyl graphic shop and have a 48 inch by 48 inch sign with a white background using florescent orange letters with the word’s “NO TRESPASSING” in 2 inch letter’s made. The rest of the letter’s on the sign must be a minimum of 1 inch in height and place 1 sign at eye level on every side of your property (not on the right of way or easement) and make sure that the sign is located on YOUR PROPERTY and clearly visible to the public. Here is what I have and had on my property when I received the “visit”. I haven’t had any trouble or “visit’s” since. Anonymous tips, a disgruntle neighbor, ect aren’t sufficient evidence or proof for a judge to issue a search warrant and if they do they have to be VERY specific about where they can search and what items that they are looking to seize. Also remember NO public official (police, animal control, code enforcement, ect) are allowed by Federal Law to look over, under or between a opec (wooden) privacy fence (my dog lot is surrounded by a 10 foot high 70X120 wooden fence with electrified chain link inside it). The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that a privacy fence is just that, a persons reasonable right to expect privacy without public or private intrusion. If you keep a clean and healthy yard like I do and we all should, let them in and show them that you have nothing to hide but, also make sure you film every second of their visit like I did and Joe Woodall did. Don’t trust them! Regardless, NEVER trust them and film every second, every step they take and every word they say. Regardless of what they tell to you, try to B/S you in to thinking, you have the right to record them on your property unless they have an injunction preventing you from doing so and in order for them to obtain that there has to be a hearing and you have to be notified in advance of that hearing and you have the right to attend it and object to it among other things. Peta, the HSUS, Animal Control, Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement and Norred & Associates Inc. are using the U.S. Constitution (actually twisting and perverting it to their own advantage). It’s time the APBT fraternity stood up like our forefathers, real men and put an end to being striped of our right’s to own property. Beat them at their own game, legally

  12. Man I had to deal with them earlier this year in April,a neighbors mutt who is never on a chain
came in heat,so for like two weeks packs of dogs running around and neighbor still didn't put her dog up,finally AC comes out, rides past my house sees my dogs (4 at the time)makes a u turn and post up outside my house,I'm looking out the kitchen window,so I step out she walks right thru my back gate starts taking pictures of my dogs, asking about shots and tags. Then she asks "what are u doing with these dogs???????)said they can't be on chains if not spayed and neutered, she goes want me to take em now?I'm like no,she says ill give u 3 weeks to either get them spayed and neutered or in kennels with shots and tags...I chose the last option.....had everything done in about a week and a half.....she never showed back up,same mutt is back in heat so is one of her Pups

Most AC people are cool that I ran into. My city had a ordinace of 4 dogs. I kept 10 bulldogs chained on spots in the back yard and they knew it. They came once and had a good look at the yard. The guy who looked at my dogs was in his 60's and told me my bulldogs weren't shit compared to airedale terriers, lol. We talk for a while about hunting and working the dogs. They came by and said hi every blue moon and when a microbust hit my yard, we lost part of the six foot fence, they told me to get it fixed immediately before anyone saw all the dogs chained in the back yard. But keep in mind, my yard was spotless, great dogs houses, 5 gal buckets with cemented holders on every spot, had flowers planted in the yard around the dogs, grass always mowed, never a smell from feces or urine and always had my dogs looking like they were ready for a conformation and never had one complaint from the neighbors. If you are cool, they will be cool. They have a job, they are doing it and nothing more than that. Long as you don't get some stupid animal right activist you are alright.

There was another thread about this topic. Some very good advise on here.Neighbors can be a problem while they walk by your property with a dog that is so fat that it can't even walk 5o feet without panting. My ex-wife called up on me to the humane society. When a couple of officers came knocking on my door asking questions, then they said in a demanding way we have to see your yard and dogs. Then they asked if I had any dogfighting paraphernalia. I asked what was that. Then they said medicine, treadmills, training devises, books and so forth. Then they started to walk like they was going to come in my house. I then said I did not welcome you in.I had a friend over and he stepped outside to ask what is going on.The officers was kind of rude to my friend. My friend then said do you have a warrant, they responded are u a lawyer. He said no,I'm a police officer and pulled out his badge. My friend asked them some questions and then said if they have more questions to get a warrant. The animal right groups will BS you if they can.I'm not a cop or attorney but I work private security and read the constitution .It has served me well over the years. You can do things to protect yourself fences, signs, and don't leave anything out in plain site. You can also film them if they come on your property.Which is the best idea if they do come on your property.KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

Well said and very true. Its almost criminal nowadays to even keep your dog fit.
Excercising my dog has been great for me personally on health grounds, I hardly
ever walked until I got my little staffy, now I'm doing biking sessions and long walks,
But ofcourse, the ignorant populas amongst us think even that's cruel. No one yet has
Seen me use my springer, let's see what the nosy scum neighbours make of that lol

the local animal control guy and i get along. hes been up here a few times over the years and ive not had any problems with him. he told me he gets calls over pitbull dogs all the time, most of it nonsense. he checked out my dogs, saw they were fine, made fun of the people who call animal control for nothing, "those people have nothing better to do with their time i guess", and left.

  20. easyboss

    easyboss Big Dog

And that's all it takes. Ninety nine percent of times its not even the dogs that r the problem
with neighbours, its some other petty reason why they've called the spc. In my case it was
Because I had no where to let her poo when she was a pup, and I had an open plan back yard
I shared with the neighbour, so I decided to fence it off so she could run around. It was legally
    My half.

For the best part of ten years my neighbour took it upon himself to place his flower pots, tools, shed etc without asking me lol. I didn't mind till I got the pup, but then he started
Gettin all aggrieved when I told him where to shove his tools and pots.
