So, I am really new to bloodlines. Never gave it a thought. I thought that I don't mind bloodlines at all because my pits are house dogs. And I really endorse in adopting. But I am eager to learn and I bumped into this dog.

Can anyone tell me what she really is?

I know how to see/spot (kinda) the usual Eli/Maverick/Chinaman/Carver/Redboy and etc peds, but I don't recognise this one. :o

 

I would call it scatterbred off of Crenshaw and Loposay, but I am not pedigree expert so I'm curious as to what they'll say as well.

 

Yea she goes back into some carver's stuff and some crenshaw. also goes back into some hemphill and lightners stuff. I personally know the man that owned and bred her. If you look on her top side it goes into eli.

If you look in her offspring, it appears that she fell into the hands of one of the first BLUE pit breeders:confused:

 

Yea its true he bred her to some stuff off the t-n-t line that stephanie tupin and gail condra started. but he took it to the old family red nose stuff. It was bred for weight pulling. but I dissagree with you statement "the first BLUE breeder. No bully pits came out of any of these breedings

 

Never said bully breeder, just Blue breeder. However to breed for anything other than gameness or ability and BULLYS are pretty much what your breeding down to.

 

Wow, thanks. Yeah I got a hunch that those bully lines like some Camelot has a little off her way way back. But I don't know. Thanks for the info guys.

 

Scaterbred. with alot of unknown show dogs. If you like her tats all that matters . I aint trien to hurt no ones fellings but I would never breed that dog. Most of the time when you see all that unknown and show peds its from BYB and most are hung paper.

 

Well just to let you know he did not breed for blue. Black dogs and tan dogs and other colors came out of those breedings. Also just cause a dog does not have a pretty uniform ped does not mean that its not a good dog. I happen to know personally that webbs bitch from hell was a bad bitch. You take a dog that has good traits you like and another dog with traits you like and you breed them. I've seen dogs with pretty peds that were crap and i have seen dogs that were scatter bred that were as game as any. Oh yea and blue is a ligit color. look at your history.
