For some one who feeds the dogs you do, you need not to worry about others unless there is a point you want to prove. Danger isn't on this thread. He is on vacation with his family.
If you would like to know about his litter mates, I can help you with those.

I wish this wasn't the internet by far and we knew each other. No norrods dogs are definitely not turtlebuster dogs since this is the line I run and run it crossed only. Yes there is exceptions to the rule but I answered the questions truthfully of my knowledge and yes again the midwest prevails on this TB blood but I am for sure that I have some of the best of the blood without a doubt but I don't pedigrees but lets say my dogs are special. I have so much faith in turtlebuster that turtlebuster will be tattooed on my body forever. But turtlebuster is just like jeep, pure most of the time it is garage and you have to run right strain of Turtlebuster to succeed with it too.

 

BTW, he asked about running in the fast lane, I didn't say the dogs are complete shit from Norrod but I was merely stating exactly what they are, 30 minutes and nothing more in todays standard, I am not talking about when Kingfish, TB or Norrod 20 or 30 years ago, we are talking today! KG did the same with TB dogs, he want fn destroyers and nothing else. Yes there might be some fanicer who has kept it right but the chances are far from it and I careless to chase down some pipe dream of these dogs.

 

What strain of the Tb do you run then? And what is it crossed with? Peds?

 

Yeah K.G always liked the mouth, but there were many of his dogs that put in time. And you claimed in one of your earlier posts that they weren't game, if you run this line and "have it tattooed on you" than you would think you would know a little more about it.

Gameness from TB isn't as important as what they truly bring to the table, you will get mouth and the most important intelligence. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my reasons for the TB blood in my dogs but I was originally talking Norrod and that is a seperate line and trait of dogs than the TB line. With TB it is there for the intelligence and mouth, some of these dogs will blow you away with smarts. I have a pup off one of the best dogs to walk the earth period, and she is heavy TB, some where in region of 40% and as a cross, it is just enough to incorporate the traits I am looking for without being unrealistic in my expectations of the blood. Being honest in the traits you pass on and actually have builds a legacy of dogs, whereas hoping for a trait that the line is not known might produce a good dog today but will his offspring be worthy of seeing tomorrow.

Great expectations, I have heard good things about the popeye dogs, but there just isn't enough being done with them to know if they are pedigrees or bulldogs to be truthful, I know where a yard his in the midwest of these dogs, bred and crossed into KG personal old stock and new age style stuff but how many dogs do you have to raise to know good stock, tens, hundreds, maybe thousands over the years. We had one down here, http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=300003 and he was said to be a good dog and if I got with turtlebuster pure, it is only the fargo dogs, hands down, intelligent, mouth and sometimes you get a all around dog from the line. The dog mntman2003 put up would be another that could show the traits. Everyone is different, it is like comparing yellow john dogs to bingo dogs, both redboy and both totally different styles of gamedogs. Each has their place in the world, I just pick and choose mine different than you, just like the next TB guy picks and chooses for another reason but a super tight dog like this and being good is a remote wish and with dogs being bred this tight, you have to be honest to yourself and the animal as well, using them as a broad and developing from there would be the way to go but running it pure now days isn't going to get you very far and if you do, more power to you!
