I am happy of my son of bobby Peru and unhappy with my El Negro double inbred bitch (the mother being Miss Zorro 2). She is so weak, I am thinking of selling her sometimes. Despite the fact she shows great grappling skills while playing with my male, she wouldn't hurt a butterfly at one year old. she is scared of everything alive, especially poodles. Now you can't win all the time and some of the offspring are meant to be crap. Maybe she will be a great producer, who knows, she might even wake up, but I am not that optimistic. I will cross her with my male (Bobby Peru x Mary jane 2) and see if anything good comes out of it.
So far, if I had to do it again, I would take a cross of Bobby and Rippa...but I read just good things about ElNegro, I was maybe just unlucky on this one.

Yea man wait on that el negro bitch she's way too young. Jus relax with keep her on her chain or where ever you keep her and wait another year or so then take a look at her. She may turn out to be too much for you to handle.

 

Shit that would be awsome for her to turn out to be too much for me to handle. Maybe I am too impatient, I never had a dog waking up late to be honest...and she is sooooo shy!maybe I am wrong, but I would expect her to be at least indifferent, and not terrified by a cat showing the teeth...hopefully she'll be a honeybunch.
and that bitch is never and will never be on the chain, she lives freely in my yard with my male, she is being socialized a lot and faces as many situations as possible...i probably just need to learn patience, thanks for your advices guys.

 

xx24x7xx, she is a year old, and I have never put her in front of a flirt pole yet. I try to get her bite ropes, she is not against it, but doesn't show any passion for it neither. That bitch has qualities, as I said, she plays hard and shows great agility when she plays with my male, she dominates the game. But outside of these games, she shows fear of anything she does not know...(especially other dogs, she does not even dare looking at them in the eyes). So she shows "some" qualities, but not all the qualities I am looking for in the breed, that's why I am interested to see how she would cross with my male. And a couple of my dogmen friends are willing her offspring because of her blood (87.5% elnegro, the male being 25%) which is rare here in Brazil.

 

Give it some time, be patient.

 

O yeeeeeeah! I wont say she's too young but she is young so yea sit on her awhile JMO. Cuz most dont consider bulldogs to be until they are atleast 2-3.5 years old

 

I'd do what 24x7 says! See how she reacts to a flirtpole but make sure it has some Hide at the end of that flirtpole. If she goes nuts for that hide....let her chase the hide to build her drive. If she drives for that hide....chain that bitch up and let another dog play with that same hide where she can see it and get jealous! If that dont wake her up....just sit on her for another year and try it again next year!!! Good Luck!!!

Man just give the dog another 2 yrs. Sound like she is maturing slow but again, stop judging your dogs based on playing. If she dont get hot by then than just get rid of her

I will wait and see...but you must admit that it's freaken annoying to have to wait years for a potential wake up while some of my dogs from the past woke up at 2 months old!!! but who knows, i'll stay positive and maybe she could be the best bitch I have ever had...I'll come back to you guys when anything happens, thanks for your advices!
