He's an idiot. Just is... lol Doesn't like anyone he hasn't known from a pup... crazy drive. 14 months...

He has really good confo for a GSD. I hate seeing those ruined show-types. Luv his color, too. Even if he is an idiot... :p

Since he is high-drive, do you work him or have him in any sports?

 

Not a fan of the GSD, but I must say the color on him is the best I have seen. Good looking dog, I would feed that one.

Nope, he's just my pet... No sports. He gets his mind and body thoroughly worked every day, but his temperament is such he can't work with strangers and other dogs. Just for fun he gets to track around the neighborhood, and we work constantly... He's pretty good, certainly is a burglar deterrent. And I can walk around this neighborhood (or, 'da hood' lol) any time of night without a problem if I've got him. He's a guardian breed and he really lets people know it if they cross a line...

Ive always had a soft spot for German Shepards.

 

I'm not really big on GSD but he's nice. I wouldn't mind getting a good working GSD for the house.

 

HUUUGE fan of a good GSD in good hands! He looks fit for the job, looks similar to my old boys GSD since passed but with a lighter color muzzle. LOVE HIM!

Nice i had two when i was younger passed now but good dogs:cool:

 

My old girl was strictly American Showlines, she was well-bred though and had pretty good conformation.. Not much of a guard dog though lol She was more likely to help thieves into the house.


J is a great watch dog... A bit too enthusiastic though, if the back door creaks he alarms to let me know there's something going on :rolleyes:

Most people here seem to think he's underweight... Of course, they're the ones with GSDs who look like tanks and bulldogs that could pass for pigs...

Forgot to add, he was 80 pounds a few months ago, and 28" at the withers... It's a bit hard for me to get a weight on him now because he's about as big as I am.. and I have to lift him and step on a scale.

 

God, he's HAWT! I've been falling for 'pointy noses' thanks to the Schutzhund club I'm part of.

i ended up with the complete opposite with my ambred.. i was in to get a confo dog, and ended up with a psycho.. lol

I'm not 100% on his lines, as his breeder doesn't have very good peds... But my old girl was out of Covy Tucker Hill... All show dogs.

If I want any peace I have to flirt/spring pole and ball with J until he's shaking and just can't go any more, then I get an hour or two of quiet :lol:
